It’s probably been hell for the January 6 defendants who have been in jail for months awaiting trial for parading in a capitol building. As far as we know, Ray Epps, who was caught on video literally inciting people to storm the Capitol, hasn’t spent any time in prison. Heck, even January 6 committee member Adam Kinzinger talked with “Ray” (they’re on a first-name basis now) and concluded that he was “just another misled man.” He was let off because authorities say he didn’t do anything wrong. There was a lot of suspicion that Epps was working on behalf of the FBI, but the New York Times says that’s a baseless accusation. Epps has suffered enormously over the past 10 months because of it.
Ray Epps has suffered enormously in the past 10 months as right-wing media figures and Republican politicians have baselessly described him as a covert government agent who helped to instigate the attack on the Capitol last year. @alanfeuer https://t.co/fDMuiqbHxu

Obscure right-wing media outlets, like Revolver News, used selectively edited videos and unfounded leaps of logic to paint him as a secret federal asset in charge of a “breach team” responsible for setting off the riot at the Capitol.

The January 6 select committee has been using selectively edited videos … what’s your point?
My god this ratio

Only been up a couple hours too.

If only he would explain why he was walking around telling folks that they need to go inside the Capitol…
— InMyHumbleOpinion (@IMHO1969) July 13, 2022
Out of all the people in trouble and jail, there’s evidence against him. Could he explain it?
— Jacque (@Jajngn) July 13, 2022
My god this ratio

He is on video instigating the attack. Why was this man cleared? Why is he now treated like a hero? Snarl words aren't a defense.
— Yancy, Part II (@yancypart2) July 13, 2022
Uhhh… there's video of him inciting a mob to attack the Capitol.
— Kyle Hunter, FRMetS (@KyleHunter) July 13, 2022
Ever wonder why Ray Epps told the crowd to tear down the gate and breach the Capitol when he himself didn’t?.
— 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 (@beesstng) July 13, 2022
he's literally on video doing the things that the people actually being held in gulags are unjustly accused of
— Corvaier (@Corvaier) July 13, 2022
Okay, maybe he isn't a government agent. But he was there inciting people to take the actions some took. But he isn't being held accountable? Kind of makes one think he's being protected. Why? Fed maybe?
— Clayton Scott (@claytonmscott) July 13, 2022
Imagine if there was no video evidence of him egging people on & actually participating in actions that others have been arrested for, jailed & charged with crimes. Where are the answers from DOJ for why he hasn’t been charged similarly? Why aren’t you curious about it too?

“baselessly” https://t.co/cESN5ZL0aE
— Sackcloth + Ashes (@flamingclownpoo) July 13, 2022
He's on video coaching people into the building.

Came for the ratio. Wasn’t disappointed.
— Myrddin the Weathered (@ynyfrwydrnawr) July 13, 2022
He got away with some mean words. At least they didn’t put him in solitary confinement with no charges.
— King Tired 2 (@KingLassitude2) July 13, 2022
This is a joke right?
— 🇺🇸 Dull Boy Jack 🇮🇹 (@GiacomoDaniel2) July 13, 2022
Seems like he got off pretty light compared to a lot of people.
— Free Range Serf (@FreeRangeSerf) July 13, 2022
Yeah, it sure does. He was actively directing people to enter the Capitol but Kinzinger doesn’t seem to think he’s a bad guy.
Ray Epps is the only right wing person they defend
— – (@DoeRayLove) July 13, 2022
Is he not an insurrectionist???
— Caesar Pounce (@caesar_pounce) July 13, 2022
He actually did do what everyone said and was never arrested. Maybe he isn't a fed, but he was an instigator. What is amazing is no one seems to want to know.

Sweet ratio, bro.

I never thought I’d see the day where I’d read a glowing, sympathetic profile of a leader of the capital riots in the NYT. But, here we are.
— The High Ground (@HighGroundBlog) July 13, 2022
The Times is running a sob story about Epps, who, once again, is on video inciting the riot. Grandmothers have gone to jail just for being in the building, but you don’t see the Times doing any stories about them, because they’re insurrectionists.

BTTT
Beat me to it. Poor little fed agent provocateur.
That’s a good guess.
There is no reason he should be talking..unless it’s damage control and the like.
Or, the only other possibility is he’s just another moronic ego maniac?
Yeah, Ray Epps never stole that cow. He just happened to find a rope and brought it home with him. How was he supposed to know that there was a cow tethered to the other end of the rope.
Confirms he is a fed.
If the NYT was around back in the day it probably bemoaned the mistreatment of Benedict Arnold.
Really. This is conclusive evidence Ray Epps is a fed.
If any of those currently incarcerated folks had asked me if it was a good idea to attend something like that, my answer would have been most emphatically NO.
It smelled fishy right from the beginning. Watching that Tucker Carlson thing about Jan 6 was like a lineup of camera hogs who basically want attention and fame. Not saying they aren’t also somewhat fond of America, but they are clearly more fond of preening before the audience and calling themselves “patriots.”
Demonstrating and protesting are of course our rights. But nothing about the installation of Brandon was right. It was a hijack and a setup right from the beginning. Patriots should have stayed away and lived to fight another day. I’m hella doubtful if any of those folks were there in the hope of getting busted and/or being a martyr.
I was and am genuinely heartbroken at the outcome of our last presidential election. As events progressed into the unceremonious booting of a duly-elected president from the White House I felt every stab of humiliation, pain, and anger that everyone who loves America was feeling.
And honestly, if there had been a way I could have wished myself into ChoMoeJoe’s house and gotten my hands around his neck - well, the world would be lacking one child predator, but OTOH CarpetKneesKamala would be president now and so it’s probably all for the best that my magic isn’t that good. (I do sort of agree with Jack Maxey that at least Kamala isn’t as compromised with Ru$$ia and China, and she would be easier to control. I think, from what I’ve read, that the Democrats are starting to lean in that direction. Heh.)
But here’s the deal: A lot of people who started orbiting around Trump in the year before the election were only after fame, wealth, and attention, and a good many were and active saboteurs.
When I went to bed on the evening of November 3, I felt a lot of relief because DT had won and I felt like, “Wow, in spite of my extreme misgivings he won.” A great weight was lifted from my shoulders and I even scolded myself a little for worrying about Trump surrounding himself with people who just wanted fame and didn’t care about our Constitutional Republic at all, right? Trump handled it and I was worried about nothing.
But I woke up on Nov 4 (my birthday) after having had a very strange dream about Bobby O’Rourke forcing me to dance with him in a place like the hallway behind a gymnasium - and the place was full of reporters. He was ecstatic and saying “Thank you, Kristi! Thank you!” (I was like “Get away from me, you freak!!!”)
Almost the weirdest dream I’ve ever had. And so I got up, went on the internet, and that’s when the nightmare started.
Trump is so used to people sucking up to him and wanting things from him, and he’s always been so insulated against backstabbers and saboteurs, I don’t think he took a lot of the threats I saw around him very seriously. (During 2020 I contacted him a few times trying to warn him because I was so worried.) (Note: It’s easy to tell who I’m talking about if you just check on the brown-nosers trying to enhance their careers by exploiting DT’s connections with entertainment/TV/etc BEFORE the election and then seeing how many of them act like they give a crap about election fraud currently. A lot of them are in hog heaven because Brandon is so easy to make fun of. They’re like, “Listen to my clever jokes about B1den! He’s a bad president!”)
An obvious plant like Epps is just the tip of the iceberg.
Stop listening to those who exhort you to risk death protesting and demonstrating because THEY want you to. America needs every patriot ALIVE and WELL and your family needs you, of course.
The FBI, media, and Jan 6 committee absolutely vilifies anyone who was in D.C. in support of President Trump that day. Except Ray Epps. Only HE was an innocent bystander even though he is on video instigating and encouraging the crowd to enter the capitol. Everyone else was an insurrectionist. Connect the dots.
BUMP
“Ray Epps has suffered enormously in the past ten months”..But he hasn’t been thrown into a hell hole for two years without hope of a fair and speedy trial as he is guaranteed by the Constitution.

This!
Why’d you do it, Ray?
Would make a nice singer/songwriter song:
“Oh, the life of the agent provocateur is so hard”,
“Yes, the life of the agent provocateur is so hard!”
Wish I could write good verse, and put it to music!
...from the ablum, Living in the USSA (United Socialist States of America)
The fact that NY Times is actually defending Ray Epps, an “insurrectionist” who is on film urging people to go into the Capitol, confirms every suspicion I have had about both Epps and the NY Times.
As compared to people still languishing in DC jail cells who did nothing more than wear costumes, hold protest signs and walk through doors at Epps invitation? Let's get an accounting of them before we draw any conclusions.
