I’ve had a couple of opportunities to get together with FReepers and I have to agree.

I dumped the rain gauge a few minutes ago and there was a tenth of an inch in it. It’s still sprinkling - - barely. Oh well, it’s better than none at all.
At least it’ll be slightly cooler the next couple of days, and supposed to be less humid.

“cooler and less humid” sounds like a lovely dream. One that I won’t be having until about October. LOL! Maybe it’ll rain all night and that 10th will grow slowly. Slow is best anyhow.

LOL! Cooler just means 90 or so instead of mid to upper 90s. Less humid is muggy instead of steamy. Not exactly a lovely dream. The lovely dream would have been all that rain they got west of us.
The rain’s stopped here now and there’s no more coming at this point.

Right now, I’d take anything under 100 and consider it a win. LOL! It seems a bit muggy here right now, too, but it won’t stay that way long. At least we do have that working for us.

Our 90 still feels like close to 100 or more, depending on how humid it is, so you aren’t missing out on anything. LOL

Thanks Luvie. We had a great visit at Chisolm Trail Park yesterday. There was a family doing an outing in our usual spot at Picnic Row so we went to the next available spot but we did do most of the usual stuff out there.

I know. It was at least 106 real temp in Bryan today. Can you imagine what it “felt” like? Times like this I guess it’s better in the desert.

And now...I need to head out. My eyes are burning tonight. See ya mañana!
