Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev told the United States on Wednesday that attempts by the West to punish a nuclear power such as Russia for the war in Ukraine risked endangering humanity.
Russia's invasion of Ukraine has triggered the most serious crisis in relations between Russia and the West since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, when many people feared the world was on the brink of nuclear war.
Medvedev cast the United States as an empire which had spilled blood across the world, citing the killing of Native Americans, U.S. nuclear attacks on Japan and a host of wars ranging from Vietnam to Afghanistan.
Attempts to use courts or tribunals to investigate Russia's actions in Ukraine would, Medvedev said, be futile and risk global devastation.
"The idea of punishing a country that has one of the largest nuclear potentials is absurd. And potentially poses a threat to the existence of humanity," Medvedev, who now serves as deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, said on Telegram.

"The whole of American history, starting with the conquest of the Native Indians, is a bloody war of annihilation," he said.

Because Russia is evil and we should help them collapse? For me personally, the people being jerks to me aren’t across the ocean, they are right here in the mainland United States.
Donetsk, Luhansk, and Crimea didn’t think Russia was evil when they asked them for help after 8 years of Kiev Bombardment. Why do you think Russia is evil? Revolutions have consequences.

That’s fine. I posed it as a question. I’m more concerned with watching society fall apart right here in the United States. Plenty of children have little to no interaction with their own children…. In the same house. I don’t think a child who had decent interactions with their parents in the home would be as likely to join a gang or commit other crimes.

Other than PedoClown literally stumbling over the brink, and initiating a nuclear exchange with the former Soviet Union, to cover up corruption and the Truth from gettng out, does any rational thinker imagine for a moment that the population of the USA intensely, after months and months of being gaslit, propagandized, messaged, nuanced, starved, impoverished, desires a nuclear war with Russia ?
Anyone?
Will NATO other than "accidentally-on-purpose," have a conventional/nuclear war with Russia? Doubtful, when oil and LNG are the driving factors of realpolitik, and not patriotism or national pride or whatever delusion we and NATO operated under during the Cold War. How long and how much lip service will Germany and France give to any idea of further NATO expansion eastwards, when the lights go out in Berlin and Paris? When the food and fuel riots begin this Fall and coming winter?
Will NATO, go to war with the Bear over Sweden or Norway or Finland or Hungary or the Baltic states? Or war with China over Taiwan?
There is currently no intentional-on purpose mechanism for the Derp State and corrupt politicans/bureaucrats, to launder so American Citizen Taxpayer money, other than through the just-in-time war in Ukraine.
Strategic nuclear war is not necessary for our society to collapse. Just greed and stupid, and we have plenty on all sides. (Check out The Road, and The Postman, and Children of Men with the coming vax-sterility issues, and other books and movies)

I wouldn’t argue with you on that, but the issue was this
ass hat clown telling others not to mess with a nuclear
power, when he’s doing that very thing.

So just what the heck are we doing meddling in eastern European affairs? Lots of reasons, and all because of Biden. He got his 10% out of Ukraine and is sucking up to them, and there's kickbacks from defense contractors for supplying missiles and arms, plus payoffs to Biden's family (Hunter etc.). No reason for the USA to be there; plenty of reasons for Biden's self-interests to put us there, none of it good for the USA. (Of course explaining to the choir... many of us already realize this.)

“In our Civil War, not yours, many of the generals and officers that started out had to be fired unceremoniously until they found the right people to lead and win. All of the great and grand generals that were leading at the start of the war were pretty much gone by the end. It was Grant and Sherman that won the war.”
Excellent point.
