Eric Herschmann, a former Trump White House attorney, claims he wrote the handwritten note Cassidy Hutchinson took responsibility for in her testimony to the Jan. 6 Committee. Hutchinson testified that it was, in fact, her handwriting, but following the hearing, Herschmann's team disputed those assertions.
A spokesperson for Herschmann told ABC News on Tuesday evening that, "The handwritten note that Cassidy Hutchinson testified was written by her was in fact written by Eric Herschmann on January 6, 2021." They added that, "All sources with direct knowledge and law enforcement have and will confirm that it was written by Mr. Herschmann." In response to the allegations that Hutchinson had lied, the Jan. 6 Committee released a statement of their own. "The committee has done its diligence on this and found Ms. Hutchinson's account of this matter credible," a spokesperson said. "While we understand that she and Mr. Herschmann may have differing recollections of who wrote the note, what's ultimately important is that both White House officials believed that the President should have immediately instructed his supporters to leave the Capitol building." "The note memorialized this, but Mr. Trump did not take that action at the time." During the hearing on Tuesday, Rep. Liz Cheney held up the handwritten note, and asked Hutchinson if it was hers. "That's a note that I wrote at the direction of the chief of staff on Jan. 6, likely around 3:00," Hutchinson responded, adding that it was her handwriting when pressed on the fact that it was written on the chief of staff note card. Hutchinson did not entirely exclude Herschmann from her story, claiming that he suggested an amending the note. A former top aide to Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, Hutchinson said her boss handed her a note card and pen on January 6, and asked her to transcribe a statement for Trump to release as the Capitol riot took place. Herschmann, for his part, has testified to the Jan. 6 Committee on numerous occasions. Herschmann's statement followed the news earlier Tuesday night that two Secret Service agents are reportedly willing to testify that then-President Trump did not lunge at a steering wheel or assault them in an attempt to go to the Capitol during the riot on January 6, 2021 as Hutchingson claimed in her testimony. IF President Trump had acted in such an outrageous manner, don’t you believe that this would have been splashed all over the place before the dust settled?
That crap that these treasonous bastards are throwing at this time is just proof that they have absolutely nothing at all.
Again.
“””In response to the allegations that Hutchinson had lied, the Jan. 6 Committee released a statement of their own.

Whenever a person in Washington DC says that something is credible, the rest of America knows that they are lying through their teeth.
The first time I witnessed ‘credible’ was the Clarence Thomas hearing and Anita Hill was such a ‘credible’ witness.
The whole “investigation” contradicts itself.
The people behind this embarrassing sham are the one’s that need to be investigated.
Paging Neil Cavuto and Bret Baeir.
I wonder how much this woman was paid to lie?
Anyone who thinks POTUS would want to go to the Capital at that time just doesn’t know Trump and his thorough understanding of the Constitution.
3 co-equal branches and separation of powers.
Generically, POTUS is not to be involved with encouraging or intimidating the Legislative or Judicial branch.
Liz Cheney would have been in Stalin’s good graces.
hell hath no furyβ¦.
Do they really pass notes back and forth like middle school children? None of this makes any sense whatsoever.
“The seriousness of the charge...”....................
Eric....my guess is that she RE-WROTE YOUR NOTE!!
Her Bank Account MUST be checked!!
So a couple of people were talking in a bar over drinks, and in the course of retelling the story exaggerated that “Trump tried to grab the wheel of the limo” when Trump was really just arguing with his driver and Secret Service detail that he wanted to go to the Capitol.
How many times has Trump’s rhetorical comments been misconstrued as material fact? “Russia, if you’re listening, I’m sure the press would like to see Hillary’s emails” becomes “Trump colludes with Russia!!!!”
Liz Cheney would be MRS. STALIN!
I saw an interesting conspiracy theory yesterday ... someone in Trump’s camp arranged for Cassidy to testify to all the things that the Ds wanted to hear. When her testimony is completely debunked the J-6 commission will have totally lost any credibility they may have still had. Of course Cassie has to convince the J-6 folks that she believes her own story in order to avoid perjury charges.
If that theory is true then the Trump folks are playing chess against checkers players.
They are two birds of a feather!
Good for you and the wise observation.
Cassidy gets paid for her role.
No consequences.
She’s happy.
Are all Cheney’s criminals?
It’s so funny to see the left embrace these scumbags.
