According to the Army “”These deployments are a one-for-one unit replacement which leaves our overall force posture in the region unchanged. The units being replaced will return to their home station.””
I didn’t hear whether any/how many of the Screaming Eagles didn’t get to go because they flunked their clotshot test? The other story is thousands of GI’s aren’t vaxed and most likely will be discharged?

I wonder who they are replacing. 101 isn’t airborne anymore. It’s a tre crearion of the Air Cavalry, now called Air Mobile. 82nd is lone Airborne Div. And 173rd in Italy is listed as a brigade but is, last I looked, a reinforced battalion.
I don’t doubt that for a second. I know Slow Joe isn’t running the show.

Sounds like a pretty routine rotation: They are replacing units that are rotating back to the US. This doesn’t sound like a force multiplier.
