That would be a very bad, self destructive idea.
What?
BTTT.
Trump spends half his year in Bedminster, and with just a few more days in-Jersey, could easily switch his residency to NJ, so as to run with Floridian DeSantis as VP.
How so?
President Trump is going to know the US Senate results for 2024 beforehand?
No but he’ll get a good idea on how well repub turnout will be and will see if repubs take either house in 2022. Doesn’t guarantee what will happen in 2024 but it will be an indicator on how serious conservatives are about taking things back and also an indicator on how many hispanics/blacks have swapped sides.
The campaign finance laws governing President Trump's Save American PAC.
“The only restriction on money in a leadership PAC—it can’t be used to campaign for an office,” says campaign finance attorney Brett Kappel. “You could use it to buy a suit, or pay your legal bills. He could put his kids on the payroll of the leadership PAC. He could put anyone on the payroll of the leadership PAC as long as they’re doing work for the PAC.” Trump could even put himself on the payroll, Kappel adds. But all those perks go away if Trump declares himself an official candidate. So if Trump were to declare himself a candidate, the hundreds of millions he has raised for his Save America PAC cannot be used for any expense directly related to his 2024 presidential campaign. If he wants to open a presidential campaign office, if he wants to hold rallies as a presidential candidate, if he wants to buy ads for his bid to retake the White House—none of that can be funded by this money. Not only is it easier to spend money with a leadership PAC, there are fewer fundraising restrictions, says Paul S. Ryan, a campaign finance attorney and vice president of policy and litigation at watchdog group Common Cause. “Candidates need to be raising the money under a much lower contribution limit—$2,800 per election, per donor, for the 2024 primary, versus the Save America PAC which can raise $5,000 per calendar year per donor,” Ryan says."
Once a Tedlimette always a Tedlimette L. O. F. L...Ruff Ruff! LOFL!
"And me. I supported the conservative in the race. I'm disappointed that I won't be able to vote for a conservative in the fall...I'm also very disappointed in the race that Cruz ran in the last part of his campaign. " -- DoodleDawg, May 4, 2016
And you ignored the underlying question because...?
DeSantis may take the VP don’t want to give to much away now it would be a great team to recover America.
MAGA
Sorry but Trump has to make it through Jan 6 and Merrick Garland, possible grand jury. Then he still has NY AG to deal with and that investigation.
Having a sizeable majority in house and Senate won’t help Trump much if both McConnell and McCarthy tie his hands to do what they want, select for Judges, positions they want, AG they want, hell they may even tell Trump he can’t fire Garland. We did that song and dance with Ryan and McConnell.
I want DeSantis.
I’m going to support and vote for Trump. And if for any reason Trump does not prevail, DeSantis will be an excellent Plan B.
Can’t go wrong.
Amen!
Could not agree more!
Who is going to be Trump’s VP?
I agree.... also. There are things that are not going to be popular that need to be done and it is best that trump do these things and then DeSantis comes in for a possible 8 more years. the net affect will be that the supreme court will be cleaned up long term not a bounce back to non-structuralist control of constitutional interpretation
trump/musk revenge tour 2024...
our turn to nominate an ineligible african-american... 😁
Up to your usual insulting nastiness again I see.
that’s a minor technicality.
didn’t slow down Bush/Cheney when both res of texas
Good song for Trump’s next run!
