The warning comes amid soaring tensions with the Nato-member country after Moscow claimed it has removed a Polish flag from a memorial site commemorating the killing of thousands of Poles in the Soviet Union.
Russia's defence ministry says its troops have killed "up to 80" Polish fighters in "precision strikes" in the eastern Donetsk region.
It said in a statement: "Up to 80 Polish mercenaries, 20 armoured combat vehicles and eight Grad multiple rocket launchers were destroyed in precision strikes on the Megatex zinc factory in Konstantinovka".
And the mayor of Smolensk, where the Polish flag was removed Andrei Borisov, confirmed the saying: "There cannot be Polish flags on Russian monuments.
"Even less so after the frankly anti-Russian comments by Polish political leaders.
"The culture ministry of the Russian Federation made the right decision by removing the Polish flag. Katyn is a Russian memorial."
Meanwhile, tensions between Russia and the West have reached a boiling state after Lithuania's announcement to ban sanctioned goods crossing from the Russian mainland via its territory to Kaliningrad.
As a result, Poland has called on Nato backup in the Suwalki Gap the stretch of land that separates the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad from Belarus.
Speaking at a news conference in Brussels, the country's Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said: "We are going to seek the reinforcement of this corridor... in our talks with our partners from NATO.".

As I am sure you are aware Ukraine had been badly mistreating Russian speakers ever since our Deep State government engineered the coup that overthrew their legally elected government that was friendly to Russia and installed the one Victoria Nuland (our current under secretary of state) had selected (”We put $5 billion into Ukraine and we’re not leaving. Our Deep State/elites/Oligarchs under Obama/Biden “bought” Ukraine for their own nefarious purposes...to use to “weaken and destabilize Russia” setting up a situation to effect “regime change.” Those in quotes words come straight from the Rand Report we ordered and paid for analyzing what would be the best strategy for achieving that. Rand said that Ukraine was the “most vulnerable” option.
I have posted a segment of the Rand Report numerous times (as I have the forthright nazi featured in the video above.)
I have also posted many times the excellent analysis of the Swiss NATO expert who thoroughly went through the entire history of this conflict showing that Putin had to be dragged into it kicking and screaming into finally deciding there was no other choice. The West was never going to honor their agreements, both about not moving NATO any closer to Russia’s border nor enacting the Minsk agreement.
I have also posted many times the long and excellent interview of a former head of the French equivalent of our CIA who stated in no uncertain terms that the U.S. is responsible for this conflict and stated the long history of conflict between the Russian speakers/Ukraine speakers of Ukraine and, in addition, quoted 19 of the most highly regarded geopolitical experts every one warning that this war was going to happen if the West continued their eastward push.
Unlike most freepers I have thoroughly investigated this from both sides on a daily basis for the whole 4 months because as a patriotic American I am devastated watching the U.S. commit suicide in this desperate attempt to maintain superpower hegemony by orchestrating campaigns to destroy their competitors/adversaries. We are in Proxy War I; next up Proxy War II (China.)
Bottom line, Russia is completely in the right on this issue. The United States (and Ukraine acting as a U.S. client state) is completely in the wrong. In my opinion it would take a “frontal lobotomy” for an intelligent, WELL INFORMED OBJECTIVE PERSON to see this differently.

There is no evidence that the Ukraine has “been badly mistreating Russian speakers ever since our Deep State government engineered the coup that overthrew their legally elected government”. If that were the case, then you should be able to prove constant mistreatment of Russian speakers - even outside of the Donbas region for the last 8 years. There is no such evidence.

Last week. Eight years into an invasion by Russians and Ukraine just now banned the Russian language.
