- with McConnell and 14 other Republicans giving it a boost
The Senate voted 65 to 34 to end a Republican-led filibuster on the gun reform package, with final passage coming as early as later Thursday
Senators were working on an agreement that would allow them to expedite the process instead of waiting 30 hours for a final vote
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was among the 15 Republicans to vote in favor of the package
The House could pass the package by the end of the week House Republican leadership is encouraging members to vote against it

See, I think the right is going to win and Rowe will be over turned. So pay the expected back is to destroy the 2A. Tit for tat.
It goes like this " We can't destroy a fetus so now you can't own a gun." Seems fair. /sarc
They can never give the right a clean win.

We don't have enough activists to get that done.
I mean, we have enough people. But they don't want to be involved. They haven't wanted it since 2010.

This should be done with the worst of the worst. McCain sets the standard as he pushed the pee-pee dossier against Trump. He hired tons of like minded people to infiltrate the Republican party in Arizona. The idiot is dead but the damage he done prevented legal or legislative actions to fight an obvious corrupted election.
If you can't primary these idiots. There is no choice but to preserve the republican party and not let infiltrators destroy it.

Anybody who voted for this outrage needs to be primaried and defeated the next election. I notice almost none of them are up for election this year. They are conniving cowards, who imagine WE will forget. No way.
Everybody... take "names".

I agree. Just thinking of the amount of money it takes to win a Senate seat under the current at large statewide elections, it’s enormous, on the level of presidential elections in some countries! That is a ready made prescription for bribes, payoffs, lobbyist control etc. We must get that repealed so we can balance the power at the federal level again.
What are the practical steps to making this happen? (I dont mean constitutionally how does it work, I mean, how do we convince enough people/states to take this on…) Of course the Deep State would fight like a rabid dog against this, but that doesnt mean we shouldnt try.
