It’s possible they think their bad poll numbers are all because of the White House Vegetable and they have a plan to throw him under the bus. Some of is because they live in a bubble world, believing their own BS. Some is they think the people love their polices but the problem is that they just haven’t implemented them as much as possible.
I suspect that as districts have become more Red/Blue both sides are much more concerned with being removed from office via a primary.
The trouble is, Miranda Devine broke that Hunter laptop story two years ago in a major newspaper - which should have earned her a Pulitzer Prize - yet the rest of the media monopoly was able to just bury it.
I think the truth is just too scary for most people to contemplate - because if it’s true the state can steal a Presidential election and cover it up - that would mean we really haven’t been a self-governing Republic for a long time. That would means the idea that the government is accountable to the people is just an illusion.
And if that’s true - that means it’s way too late to put the federal government in check.
I wonder sometimes if reason politicians always seem to betray us as soon as they get to Washington DC is because they learn the bitter truth upon their arrival there. They discover that We the People already lost that fight long ago.
Maybe they just don’t have the heart to tell us we are no longer in charge.
The states will fight this like a bobcat in a sack. Elections are state turf.

You are absolutely correct, The True the Vote project discovered the threads of corruption in Yuma county Arizona go deep and wide and affect all parties and all levels of government. Fixing the vote is the mechanism to keep the graft flowing. I’m sure it is the same in many areas of the country. follow the money, a large portion is coming from cartels, CCP, NGOs, Big Tech, and George Soros.

The corruption of Washington is known by all except the voters. The successful candidate has learned what is expected of him or her and, no matter how “principled” they are, they will understand that to play the game means millions of dollars in their accounts. How else does a congressman serve 24 years, top pay $175,000 and retire worth $80 million?
In short, they are bought and paid for before they get to DC and meet the corrupt swamp creatures.
We would be better off to send the 535 packing and start from nothing.
It is money and power that motivate the corruption.
All lobbyists should be sent home which should eliminate most of the graft floating around the Senate and House offices.

In Georgia, they flapped their arms and made a big show of cleaning up the problems from the 2020 election, while not really doing ANYTHING. The same hackable voting system is firmly in place and those in charge used it in the primary to eliminate almost all of the Trump endorsed candidates.
Let’s just say that, if that were to happen, there might be severe repercussions. I personally think that there are too many people out here with their eyes open after the 2020 election and they might not be so willing to just accept the doctored results this time.
