New York(CNN Business)US drivers got a slight — very slight — break on prices this weekend as the AAA average for a gallon of unleaded gas fell below the $5 mark.
The average price Sunday was $4.98 a gallon, down from $4.99 in Saturday's reading. The average gas price had been $5 or above for the previous seven days, the first time on record prices crossed that mark. It hit a high of $5.02 a gallon on Tuesday and has declined by a fraction of a penny each day since then.

The problem is that there is only a FINITE amount of oil stored in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, and we’re about to deplete that.
Once gone, there is no upside to the price of gas...we’re doomed (as per plan by the Neocons and Globalists).

Well, I filled up for the relative miracle of $4.57. Since I fill up when the tank gets down to half, I paid $28.50 (fuel-efficient car), but if I had my old habit of letting it get down to a quarter-tank, I would have spent more than $40.

Only reason gas prices dropped a couple of pennies is because Brandon is draining the strategic oil reserve. Once that oil is gone, gas prices will go up gast.

More likely the demand is starting to drop now that school is out across a majority of the country. Demand is going to drop more if prices don't somehow magically start going down farther as families change vacation plans, pare down kid activities (which require daily personal transport) and driving habits. Trucking companies are probably looking to save around the edges with combining more less than full load trailers and raising shipping rates as well.

No. We have a house here that filled their yard with Biden signs. After he was elected, it was filled with thank you signs. Now they have a electic vehicle parked sideways in their front yard to show off their allegience to the state.

The place I usually go to has dropped .10 cents in a week, it is now ONLY $4.40 a gallon.

We care about it taking $140 to fill up the tanks of our SUVs when oil is sitting there untouched under the surface of our great land because to get it would offend Gaia and all her followers in Manhattan and Santa Monica. We’re going to elect a new president from the “Drill, baby, drill” caucus.
