My $2,000 AR-15 for a $100 gift card.
Sounds fair.
Buyback? So the Ft. Worth PD was selling them, previously? Another example of how the propaganda organs of the demo-commies try to alter the perceptions or the gullible, and reality.
Liberals use of the language is not like normal people use it.
Not at gunpoint.
Lots of Lorcins, broken junk, and a few cap pistols will be paraded on TV afterward.
Judging by history they are likely to net a couple of very valuable collectors items from widows too.
‘Bangers will be able to dispose of their stolen hardware and upgrade.
Yes, it is a mangling of the english language to call these thefts a “Buy-Back”.
Enterprising FFL’s have shown up at such events and appraised guns while the sellers waited in line.
That tends to rile both the authorities and the ones who learn that they were about to give away a $500 to $20,000 firearm for a lousy gift card.
Someone needs to explain how you can ābuy backā something you never owned in the first placeā¦
Make a zip shotgun out of a piece of 3x4 and some 3/4” black iron pipe and sell a half dozen of them to the police.
I’m sure all the criminal types will sell for a gram or two, then get more from Holder.
Problem solved. SMH!
As long as they wear the ‘mask’ and their coordinated black outfits, which comes in pretty darn handy for crims.
Are they accepting nerf guns?
Hopefully they get some truly dangerous guns out of circulation but on second thought Iāll just keep my throw downs they may even still shoot.
Did the people in Fort Worth buy their guns from the police? If not, how could they, “Buy it back”?
Did the people buy those guns from the police? Why are they calling it a buyback? 100 bucks is kind of puny. I will sell them my Nerf gun for that.
Secondly, How can you sell anything back to someone who never owned it? If anything, the government should be selling their weapons back to us, the people since we paid for them.
The headline should read “Fort Worth police Gonig Into the Business of Fencing Stolen Guns”.
LOL not bad
Why on earth did they sell all these guns to the public if their just gonna buy em back?
The police are buying the guns back?
Who buys guns from the police department in the first place?
Since when is ANY functioning gun worth as little as $100?
