Never-before-seen photos of Trump, family in Oval Office on Jan. 6 shown to House committee

Never-before-seen photos of then-President Donald Trump surrounded by his children and aides at the White House in the hours before MAGA supporters stormed the Capitol were shown to the House select committee on Thursday.

The photos were revealed for the first time as the committee probing last year’s Capitol riot spotlighted a “heated” phone call that Trump made to his then-Vice President Mike Pence from the Oval Office the morning of Jan. 6.

This is intended as analysis and not incitement, but my opinion would be that at any point in time where President Trump was about to be arrested, the situation in the country would be quite volatile and many other things would happen, amounting to civil unrest. I am already quite amazed by the generally stoic response to both the apparently fraudulent election and the constant chorus of false claims by the media and Uniparty politicians that this is a “conspiracy theory” and such horse-puckey as “they know they are spreading lies” in describing those trying to spread the truth.

I suppose most people figure, the two term limit means that Trump could now serve as president 2025-2028, something he could not have done if he had won in 2020. That might be an acceptable payoff for putting up with the bizarre spectacle that is the Biden non-ministration.

I agree with you. Is there a way to do a class action lawsuit against the media? They get special freedoms for being “the press”. Yet, they are the mouthpiece of the Democrat party. If not, when are we going to have mass demonstrations against the media? I suggest we start against the worst offender, the AP.

Their view of the law is like Beria’s: “show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.” The only thing that restrains them from trying to arrest Trump is the potential political fallout. They realize that it could backfire badly even though all Democratic politicians (with perhaps a few exceptions), lots of Republican politicians, and nearly all of the media would cheer such an arrest, but the public would see through the charade and it could hurt the Democratic Party big time. They already know that their only hope of winning in November 2022 is by massive cheating, and arresting Trump might put that out of reach no matter how extreme the cheating.
