You have to house that picture somewhere on the web to make a link work.

Image links must end in “.gif”; “.png” or “.jpg”
Link is a ad for gmail
That’s what I’m getting.
It looks like she’s trying to link to an image attached to an email in someone’s gmail account.
< img src= "paste url here" >(remove space after and before < > )![]()
It took me to my Gmail account
That isn’t going to work unless she uploads the pic to an image hosting site or a website that’s available to her.
Dude, or Dudette,
WARNING: MANSPLAINING AHEAD
1) if you have a long link like that to post, just use tinyurl.com on it. Copy the link, paste it in the box at tinyurl.com, and click, and receive a short link you can copy and paste INSTEAD, and make everyone happy.
2) to show a picture, this site (and other websites) have to have the picture stored somewhere that they can get it from in order to show it to viewers; that’s called “hosting” the picture. There are various sites that do that for you, and there are some paid sites if you do that alot and want your pictures kept there for you. Anyway, you upload your image to the service, and you get back one of a number of links to the image, depending on how you want to use the image, whether a full image, or a thumbnail image, or with a link for forums posting, etc. (I think I have that essentially right, re: the explanation. If not, I don’t care, that’s close enough for government work.).
3) Here is a website that has both tinyurl and image hosting links built-in for people to use for free (see the upper central box of the screen for the two services):
https://lamronverse.com/homepage/
(this is not my website, I get no money or anything but satisfaction at having helped someone if you use this website to get easy tinyurl links or image hosting links.)
Almost,
‘Verify Google Account’
Pops Up.
No photo, No love.
:(
Couldn’t just post a cute kitten video, could you? :)
Quick! Someone post a bunny with a pancake on it’s head!!!
