Fox News analysts Karl Rove said on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that unless protesters were arrested outside the houses of Supreme Court Justices, it is “open season on judges.”
Discussing the arrest of an armed man outside Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home, Rove said, “The American Civil Liberties Union says this statue, we interpret at the following way, we point to a Supreme Court Case that suggests that as long as they keep moving in front of the house, If they are stationary, they should be arrested but if they are moving in front of the house have a right to try and influence a Supreme Court Justice. That is ridiculous.”

Have to watch out how we are being herded by the RINO-Democrat media in the debates over issues into losing freedoms.
It’s clear now each emotional mass shooting event will be a catalyst to slowly erode the Second Amendment.
The deal is cut now in Washington.
On abortion a Roe vs. Rade reversal could trigger violence maybe even at justice’s homes but that violence cannot be used by anyone to ban all protests at government officials homes.
That is erosion of the First Amendment.

That’s completely ridiculous - the First Amendment does not permit people to harass people and their families at their private homes - that is not “peaceable assembly.” Moreover, this is being done to intimidate and affect legal rulings in their capacity as a judge - that also is not something protected by the First Amendment.
You want protestors arrested at Judges houses? Send some Pro-life protestors to Sotomayor’s house or Kagen’s house.

The law on this is pretty clear. 18 USC Sec 1507:

The “free speech” arguments are likely more about knocking Rove than the reality of Leftwing harassment/violence.

And there in lies the out. Peacefully demonstrating, be it outside the court house or the judges house, does constitute interfering, obstructing, or impeding.
It would also be open season on Congress. Won’t stop with 9 justices.
