The FBI deceived the House, Senate and the Justice Department about the substance and strength of evidence undergirding its counterintelligence investigation of President Trump, according to a recently declassified document and other material.
A seven-page internal FBI memo dated March 8, 2017, shows that "talking points" prepared for then-FBI Director James Comey for his meeting the next day with the congressional leadership were riddled with half-truths, outright falsehoods, and critical omissions. Both the Senate and the House opened investigations and held hearings based in part on the misrepresentations made in those FBI briefings, one of which was held in the Senate that morning and the other in the House later that afternoon. RealClearInvestigations reached out to every member of the leadership, sometimes known as the "Gang of Eight." Some declined to comment, while others did not respond to queries.
The talking points were prepared by Lisa Page, a senior FBI lawyer who later resigned from the bureau amid accusations of anti-Trump bias, and were used by Comey in his meeting with Hill leaders. They described reports the FBI received in 2016 from "a former FBI CHS," or confidential human source, about former Trump campaign officials Paul Manafort and Carter Page (no relation to Lisa Page) allegedly conspiring with the Kremlin to hack the election.

I believe Comey was the King Pin in the entire “get Trump” and the Russian matter and he showed his hand when he ran to his car after meeting with President Trump and started typing what he would “recall” as grounds for impeachment....and other fake charges.

Since we know nothing will ever happen to hold Comey, etc., to account, I no longer care about these revelations.
I believe Comey was in line for Attorney General under President Hildebeast. It was quid pro quo all the way. Trump scotched the deal.

It’s only a crime if someone under them does it and it’s not in step with what they want.
For example, if you check data bases on a potential maid, that’s a policy violation and could get you fired! BUT, if you’re on board with them and do an illegal FISA on a Presidential candidate, that’s totally OK.
If you leak classified information to the press, but it’s in step with what the folks at the top want, that’s totally OK. In fact, that can be done CONCURRENTLY as the FBI is prosecuting a junior enlisted guy because he took pictures of where he works and lives on a nuclear sub (illegal, but he had no malicious intent).
The FBI as a “zero tolerance” policy on nearly everything, except it if’s shady but what those at the top want. Then (only if caught and in the public spot light) no one ever gets in trouble, you just get another policy statement, more mandatory training (virtual) and a speech. That “shows action” and fulfills the requirement of taking action after something wrong was done...

The FBI is political. They are partisan. They are NOT neutral nor do they enforce the law or even their own policies consistantly.

Trump is the most persecuted person in history, I do believe. Multiple antagonists from multiple directions. Few could stand up to such an onslaught as he has done. What a remarkable man is Donald Trump.
Unfortunately, this might not be an overstatement. It wasn't that long ago that I thought of the FBI and CIA as those organizations that would keep foreign and domestic enemies from destroying our nation.
Comey is a pig. A lying pig.
