Howdy, luvie.

It sounded like y’all had a pretty rough day with heat AND a sand storm. :-( I hope the sand storm has ended.

Good evening, radu...more sunshine for the corn?

It was gloomy and overcast here til early afternoon...now it is HOT on the deck. I might need to go out and get 15 minutes of sun.

Hey there, radu!

It was horrid! It did finally end mid-afternoon, but not before my nerves were destroyed. LOL! The only up-side was that it didn’t reach 100 today. The thing is, where did it come from? It sure wasn’t a “cold” front, that’s for sure.

I hope your weather today was more boring. :) And that you got a nice rain with maybe some cool lightning.

Hey there, Kathy.

Not much sunshine today. Still cloudy and a couple of rain showers passed over us this afternoon and evening. Tomorrow, we’ll have sunny skies and slightly cooler temps.

It was very gloomy up there earlier today. A Dreamlifter was taxiing out for takeoff when I pulled up the LH cam so I waited to watch that. It took no time at all for it to disappear into the clouds.

It looks a lot different there now. Get out and soak up some of that natural Vitamin D for a little while and relax. :-)

Sounds like a horrible mess. Just seeing sand storms on videos makes my skin crawl. I can understand it being nerve-wracking to be IN one. I feel for your kitties being stuck outside in that mess.

Cloudy and stifling here today. I had to pick up another medicine for Bella this afternoon and ran a few errands since I was in town. Not fun but it got done. And I beat a rain storm that was moving in while I was there. Just got everything inside before it rained. No cool lightning with it though.

Next week, they say we’ll have mid 90s with the heat index 100+. Not weather we look forward to.

So far so good on the garden front.

Between COVID and coyotes the rabbit and groundhog population is way down...nothing has been eaten off—yet.

Good evening, Mayor, and thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.

We made it through hump day.

Hope your week is going well, and as planned.

Yuk! That forecast just sounds awful! You’re definitely going to want to get what you need so you don’t have to be out and about it that kind of misery. Our humidity is at about 40% right now. I can tell without going outside. My hair begins to frizz.

The wind was blowing SO hard, I was afraid it would upend the little greenhouse hubby has. But he has anchored it well. The kitties were in hiding. Peaches was outside when it started and he wanted IN. NOW! LOL!

WOW! We just had 2 rolled thunder claps!! Rain clouds over by the mountains. I hope they bring some rain!

It did go pretty smoothly. I need to finish up a couple things this evening, but so far so good.

Yep, I’ll do my best to get what we need for the next week on Sunday when it won’t be so hot. Won’t be much since we’re pretty well stocked up.
I hope it cools off by that weekend. It’ll be a little warm in the museum and it’ll probably be very slow since no one will want to venture out to visit.

Wow, it sounds like y’all had some mighty strong wind if you thought the greenhouse would upend. I hope the kitties had good hidey holes to get out of that mess. Can’t blame Peaches at all for demanding to be let in.

I saw some promising-looking clouds over the mountains earlier. It would be nice if they’d move over the city and give you some rain. Fingers crossed for luck!

Good evening, Mooch...all of the white stuff is now gone, even from the close mountains.

And right now we are muddling through a heat spell...BUT, I just heard a rare sound: 2 rolling claps of thunder. I sure hope they bring some rain. We still haven’t had any rain since winter went away.

Always nice to have a day go smoothly. It would be nice if you have some free time tomorrow to whittle down “the pile” a little more. :-)

Yes, staying at home seems to be a trend this year with all the crazy weather. By the time we went to bible class it had calmed back down. Thank goodness. You might think people would want to visit the museum since it’s nicely air conditioned. They can be comfy and be entertained at the same time.

These kitties KNOW how to find a place to be safe and out of the elements. They’re experts by now. :)
