Democrat Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) said that gas prices “didn’t matter” to her because she drives an electric vehicle while millions of Americans feel the financial burden of record-high gas prices.
Stabenow’s remarks came during Tuesday’s Senate Finance Committee hearing about President Joe Biden’s fiscal year 2023 budget.

Incredible! So she either thinks that everyone can afford an $80K car or that only those few people that do, matter? What about the rest of the public? What about anyone who owns or is paying off a gasoline car, what are they to do? Is there a government buy back or trade in program?

A huge part of the problem is that regulatory agencies are doing what they want without oversight by Congress...they’re too busy giving our money away so they can be re-elected.
This is the same attitude that caused the French to bring out the guillotines as their revolution got rolling and they began chopping off the heads of the elites like Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette.
We are there. We have elites so disconnected from the plight of the people they do not realize they are on the threshold of triggering a violent revolution.
