That worked for a friend of mine when a local ER was holding her 89-year-old husband hostage without anyone when he had covid, she called his cardiologist, who called the hospital and got action immediately—even though the cardiologist did not have privileges in the hospital.

I expect to wear a mask in a hospital but that’s ridiculous.

Here’s the thing……..Jim must know to contact his son.

Jim must know that we all know he’s in the hospital by this time and he needs to speak to Chris.

So either Jim is unable to make or attempt contact or he’s not being allowed.

BTDT with my mother. They wouldn’t talk to me or return calls and of course I wasn’t allowed in. Same song and dance at the rehabilitation center. They did the same with Mr. b, too. Now that they have this control, they won’t be releasing it.

Visiting a new friend and their mom told the story of getting her elderly husband out of the nursing home last spring. He had Covid and was put into the “covid ward” of the nursing home (NJ).

They couldn’t see him, didn’t hear from him, etc. A younger neighbor of the mom finally said “We’re going over there and putting our foot down!”

It sounds like they got there just in the nick of time and they put him in a wheel chair and ran. He hadn’t eaten in days, his clothing was covered in feces and vomit. They got him home and got him back to health.
