No Compromise on Guns

Here is my proposed gun control compromise following the latest attack on children that millions of us did not commit. Ready? You gun fascists can kiss my Schumer and we keep our guns. In fact, let's also repeal the National Firearms Act and impose national constitutional carry. I think this compromise fairly balances our respective legitimate interests regarding guns. Our legitimate interest is maintaining the capacity to deter and defeat tyrants and criminals. Your legitimate interest in limiting our ability to do so is non-existent.

There are several Republicans who are apparently eager to come to a compromise on guns with the Democrats, whose ultimate goal is to rule unchallenged over a nation of disarmed, supine Canadian serfs. Some are lawyers, which explains why they are in Congress and not raking in bucks lawyering. If I went to one of my clients and suggested, "Okay, I propose we resolve this matter by giving the other side a lot of money and getting nothing in return," I would have to find an alternate income stream too.

Don't want a gun? DON'T buy a gun! 'Infringe' is a pretty easy concept to comprehend. Despite branDUHn's proclamation, the BOR means what it says and was written to limit government from interfering with individual rights. The BOR doesn't GRANT anything or provide this or any other 'badministration' the power over those rights. Not hard.

once the guns are gone, only tyrants will have guns.

no other right is as precious as the second amendment.

The number 1 item should be to repeal the gun laws that aren’t working, which is basically all of them.

The BOR is a reminder to the government that those rights come from God, and government cannot infringe or deny or restrict them.

“once the guns are gone, only tyrants will have guns. no other right is as precious as the second amendment.”

The 2nd Amendment is the protector of all the other rights.

The day has come whereby you don't need 10 rounds to kill a deer (as Governor Cuomo used to say)
However, you may need 30 rounds to defend yourself from an invading criminal and his three buddies, who wait in the bushes.

After Waco?

No more gun control.

One crazy guy is serious.

Hundreds of armed Democrat government employees is a disaster.

No gun control as long as there is one Democrat tyrant in America.

Americans compromised on the 1968 gun control act. No sooner was the ink dry on LBJ’s signature than politicians started screaming for more and more gun control.

Repeal everything back to and including the NFA of ‘34 as blatantly unConstitutional.

Things might get a bit “spicy” as various high crime areas are cleaned out... But that is long over due as well.

Think there would be much blowback if someone tried to “infringe” on the 13th or 19th amendments? After all, we have been reminded recently that we are dumbasses for not understanding that none of them are absolute. DOH! Someone needs to repeat Civics 101. 🤣

I just read that Mexico has strict gun laws. Maybe that is why there is so much corruption in their country? The people can’t even defend themselves.

Slaves were not allowed guns. Were blacks allowed guns during Jim Crow era?

These Democrats are terrible people...love to control the lives of people. China is a great example. I do believe that people of USA still have spirit to fight for our country.

Oh while I’m on a rant. I was thinking back about life of children in fifties and earlier. I don’t ever remember a gun incident. Life was a breeze then. I know!...we can’t go back

Yep. These people are acting in bag faith. They keep claiming at every step along the way that this is it, this is all they want, now they’ll be satisfied, etc. They never are. They will always come back for another bite of the apple until there is nothing left.

We’ve compromised too much already. We not only should not give an inch on anything they want, we should take back the 1934 NFA requirement of a tax stamp for suppressors and for Short Barreled Rifles (which was only put in there because they wanted a handgun ban and then realized they couldn’t get it....they thought SBRs would be a loophole to get around the ban on handguns which was never implemented in the first place).

We should scrap the 1968 GCA’s absurd point system for imported handguns and the 1986 ban on any automatic weapons made after that date. The 1993 Brady Law should also be scrapped.

Completely agree. Manufacturers should stop selling guns, bullets, reloading supplies, and POLICE gear to those groups that want to make more gun laws. Stop! Don’t just say NO, but FN. The same with gas and oil. Let NY and CA issue everyone electric car.

Why do we put up with this? Hipshot6 out!

My comment was on the BOR (Amendments 1 - 10). You cite Amendments 13 and 19 (not part of the BOR).

But I imagine there would be hell to pay if the 13th and 19th Amendments were infringed, and justifiably so.
