African American White House Staffers Leaving in Mass ‘Blaxit’: Report
New York Post ^ | May 31, 2022 | Callie Patteson

More than 20 black White House aides have departed the Biden administration since late last year, an exodus some have dubbed “Blaxit,” according to a new report.

While some of the departing staffers have left on good terms to pursue additional career or educational opportunities, others have attributed the turnover to a lack of mentorship and opportunity, Politico reported Tuesday, citing nine black current and former White House officials.

“We’re here and we’re doing a lot of work but we’re not decision-makers and there’s no real path towards becoming decision-makers,” one current staffer told the outlet. “There is no real feedback and there’s no clear path to any kind of promotions.”

Sounds like the field hands have realized that they’re field hands.

Meanwhile, how is “Blexit” going?

Increasingly underwhelmed with Prime Minister Moptop.

Welcome to the 'real world' of employment. Most of us are not asked for our opinions, but to just do the work.

Apparently these individuals had exceptionally high opinions of their potential worth and entitlement.<>P>Sorry people, but the world just doesn't move to meet your high valuations of yourselves. Things have to be earned!

Those lower tier jobs start at $48K per year. That’s not huge, but still a nice amount for those starting out.
Opportunity, just like Good Luck, is found when you recognize and then quickly take it.

“We’re here and we’re doing a lot of work but we’re not decision-makers and there’s no real path towards becoming decision-makers,”

Ummm, OK. Exactly what do want to make decisions on? Foreign policy, domestic policy, educational policy? More importantly, WYF qualifies you to make any decisions besides the color of skin?

These f’ing government affirmative action employees disgust me.

Basically said it

“Not in decision making positions”

There just there for fluff, stuff, and pictures. How typical for the Democrats.

They couldn’t have been too smart to begin with if they initially agreed to work in the Traitorjoe kakistocracy.

Staffer’s are NEVER decision makers. Even the higher level people are just advisors and informers. If they got jobs there thinking they were going to be setting policy, then they didn’t study hard enough in civics classes.

It might have been a joke when Bush called himself the Decider, but it is the truth. (Although it might not be the Biden we think it is making the decision now.)
