Michael Sussmann, a lawyer representing Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign, has been found not guilty of a single count of lying to the FBI when he said he was not working on behalf of any client when he alleged a covert communications channel between the Trump Organization and Russia's Alfa Bank.
Sussmann was charged under 18 U.S.C. 1001 with lying to the FBI during a meeting with then-FBI general counsel James Baker when he came forward with what he claimed was evidence of possible covert communications between the Trump organization and Alfa, a Russian bank. Sussmann allegedly concealed that he was representing the Clinton campaign, which he billed for his efforts.
The verdict comes after a two week trial led to more than a day of deliberations... by this jury:

Juror speaks to some media after Sussmann verdict
“I don’t think it should have been prosecuted,” she said of the case. “There are bigger things that affect the nation than a possible lie to the FBI.”
OMG! That’s not their decision number one. Number two it is a crime whether this vlown thinks so or not. Three, if this person felt this way they should have stepped down. Four. I’d love to know this bottom feeders opinion on whether Michael Flynn should have been prosecuted for supposedly lying yo the FBI. This is beyond horrifying and the fact that they feel totally comfortable saying it out loud should scare everyone.
Defendant is Igor Danchenko. And yes, Virginia is part of the 4th Circuit.
A banana republic. Durham brought a charge that wasn’t the most earth shattering, given the attack on a president by his own bureaucracy. Someone lied. That got prison sentences for others. Turley predicted it was unlikely Sussmann would be convicted, given it was DC, the jury was packed with Clinton donors, and the accused had a friend on the jury. We should all be so lucky.
I suspect, if we had a real Supreme Court that they would find a way to intervene in this.
Justice is not possible in DC for the Jan6 political prisoners, nor for anything conservative.
Should not have been on the jury.
As a pessimistic and correct pundit I heard a couple of weeks ago said, the Dem voters in DC was 92.1% in the last election. He’s right that the outcomes are known in advance.
For any jury pool in DC the faces of DC types hearing the name Trump turn into those of the shriveled, puckered, scowling living dead. For Clintons “Our heroes,” sighs and tears of pride.
Like the Jerk in which the hapless Steve Martin defendant sees the judge and all jurors have the symptom of cross eye effects from his invention and all will be firmly against him. DC is 92.1% Dem and a big Clinton voting bloc from way back.
“Pay to the order of Iron Balls McGinty...One dollar and nine cents!”
In this country you are innocent until proven otherwise. The jury said not guilty.
All kinds of reasons possible. Insufficient evidence. Vague directions. Corrupt jury. Yada, yada.
As noted, tho, the Hillary Hag did direct the process.
I’ve never heard of the prosecution requesting a change of venue.
I think it is rare, but a judge can overturn a guilty verdict
if there is just cause. As for overturning a not guilty
verdict, I remain unconvinced that is possible.
There must be a jury nullification protection. Sure couldn’t
find it
Yes, I certainly agree.
I think Reagan’s brush with death inoculated him against
some of the same. Both sides were against him also.
His wild popularity frustrated them to no end.
Gee, what a shocker. Knew it from the beginning.
Aren’t we supposed to riot, burn down cities and loot now?
I’m not the only one to contemplate this being a plus for
Durham.
If you wanted to move a Clinton trial out of Washington,
D. C., what better way to support it than by having a
jury ignore compelling evidence to come up with a not
guilty verdict in a trial concerning the whole matter?
(not claiming this article makes that point)

There was no way they were going to get Clintoon’s personal shyster. It would have been a cold day in hell.
Well allrighty then, time to get back to the Trump persecutions, January 6th infidels and white supremacists.
LOL! You just have to laugh at that.
But - an important point. Do not talk to the police without legal counsel present. Don't, don't, don't. Police officers will tell you that.
Lessee, who had the most to gain from RWR's demise?
Why, none other than another corrupt CIA Director that had whetted his assassination whistle, who in the days leading up to 11/22/63 still directed the Agency's Bay of Pigs mercenaries--and likely others as well--none other than GHWB!
