A newly erected statue of former UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has been vandalised again, not even a month after it was first put up.
Having been standing for less than a month in the English town of Grantham, the statue of the former Conservative Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has once again been vandalised.

I watched dozens of British police and detective TV shows. A common theme brought up is hatred of Thatcher, and blame for British economic difficulties in the 1980s.
They’re so brave.
I lived there at the time, she was determined to destroy the labor unions that funded her political opposition. They were very strong in manufacturing industry. Her solution was to destroy manufacturing industry, thereby removing a source of funding from the unions.
I go back to visit family over there every few years and as I drive through what was once called “the workshop of the world” I despare as I see either empty spaces or warehouses on sights the used to make cars, or tractors or components to build other real goods

My husband and I watch Britbox and I can attest to what you are saying. Even the newer detective shows display a contempt for PM Thatcher. They are so full of BS trying to appear lofty and know-it-all in their derision of her policies. The entertainment world in GB is as corrupt as the one in the US.
The city of London can’t spare a hundred or so cameras to see who’s doing it?
