Fartwell is speaking to his leftist audience. No conservative would ever tell their kids that they’re safe in schools.
We all know that our kids are at risk from having their soul sucked out by a leftist, sexual pervert (i.e., public school teachers) every day in public schools

I agree.
The public education system that has produced these people needs to be shut down entirely.

Cernovich replied to this tragedy on Twitter with solutions:
“After Sandy Hook it was shown how to armor up schools. No one could find the budget for this. $40,000,000,000 for the war machine was printed out in a day. Just the world we live in. Sad. But solutions are there. The government doesn’t care.”
Another person replied:
“-Armed guard
-Single point of entry
-Teacher training”
They are there to protect them. Fund them. But libtards are too dumb to realize that cops can’t travel at the speed of light to stop the bad guys.

Then he’s making the argument for armed guards at the school and in agreement with the GOP.
Good for him coming around.

They won’t be safe at school if the school does not have an armed security plan in response to known threats.
I give you: https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=6329595&postID=3418721971235501598&bpli=1
Read it, it was 4 years ago, threats in question were at age 14 then age 18 now in Uvalde Texas. What do you all think fellow Freeprs? Was that our perp? Known to police and school admin? In a town of 16,000 he was no mystery.
Once again local authorities fail to act. Perhaps because it is too much like work.

God forbid we have a red flag system...
There are kids who witnessed their friends and teacher getting shot in the face.
Those kids, and the entire community will be scarred for life.
Senseless tragedy that people are blaming on not having armed police on every school in America.

Here where I live kids are safe a school, at least from crazies wanting to go light in a blaze of glory publicity. Teachers and staff here are gun trained and encouraged to go to work armed. And. It is public knowledge. Since this started the once or twice a year phoned-in threats of shooting or bombing have ceased altogether and the weirdos look for some other outlet for their delusional frustrations. It's no fun going to shoot u a school if you might get shot yourself before you can make your mark with multiple bodies.

Florida has solved the problem in most counties. Teachers and staff are trained and encouraged to use their carry permits to carry at school and it all is made known. That armed guard just presents as the necessary first shot after which the creep has a free fire zone in which to cooperate for 5-10 minutes when the police get there.

He contradicts himself from one sentence to the next!
“We’re not saying gun control. Why don’t we just have guns disciplined in this country?”
Amazing…

They are safe in school as they are on streets, highways, concert halls, subways, walking in the park, etc.

Red flags systems are a great idea — if you expect the civil authorities to be competent - and have due process. Let's take what might have happened in this case. Juvenile makes violent plans, gets caught & arrested. I have no problem with him getting red flagged in the NICS system; even though the juvenile record gets exposed. However, you can't have that as just one line of defense. Because that does not work if the one civil authority in question (a judge) fails to act. And, there are other ways of getting weapons if you have no respect for the law (and are planning to shoot up a bunch kids) So, defense is needed in depth. To include in your school security plan an armed response.
