The 18-year-old gunman who allegedly shot and killed 19 school children and two adults at a Texas elementary school cryptically messaged a stranger “I’m about to” just hours before he opened fire on the children.
Salvador Ramos was identified as the suspect in the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde on Tuesday, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said. He was killed by police after the shooting.
He was using an account with the username “salv8dor_”, which was taken down shortly after that shooter was identified as Salvador Ramos.
The Instagram account which is believed to be of the shooter contained photos of firearms and a mirror selfie of himself. The account also shared a photo of two rifles and tagged another person in the post.

Most of Texas allows teachers to have guns. Not sure about this school though.
I am highly skeptical of this “stranger” description.

Even if they are not friends or even familiar acquaintances, there has to be a link. A reason.
Democrats hate the police.
The Left and current Democrat Party have always hated the police. “Instead of just being upset, why are we as educators not taking an obvious step and escorting police out of our schools? There is a large body of research that shows that having police in schools negatively impacts student learning and makes kids feel unsafe.”

There were school police there that engaged the shooter outside (not sure where I read the article stating this) but he still managed to get in.
I suspect they didn’t have rifles and the shooter was wearing body armor. Took a tactical border patrol agent to take him down.
Not only that but its been several years since schools here in Indiana have locked their doors and require you to be buzzed in. Guess I thought it was pretty normal across the board by now.
We must get rid of gun free zones now!
Here’s a good article that says what happened. Cops engaged him outside and he ran in and barricaded himself in a classroom and shot everyone in it. They had to kill him with a headshot.

The shooter was a mentally ill kid who was on the radar but our broken mental health “care” system did nothing. Again.

Mental Health care is a thing of the past. They emptied out and closed all the asylums long ago and put them all on the streets.
I’m not so sure the mental health system failed him. His peers, parents, and teachers failed to recognize his problems and take action. I haven’t read anything yet that says he was in counseling/treatment.
Don’t get me wrong. The mental health care system is in shambles. I just don’t believe he was referred to it. He was just another lost kid without a father shuffling through the government school system.

Public schools are malignant. The shooter was a product of the same. I don’t know if it’s moral relativism or total control environment like a prison. But malignant they are.
