It’s a coincidence. That 18-year old kid wasn’t political. He was angry and murderous. He’s probably never heard of the NRA or he wouldn’t have been going against everything they teach about gun safety and use.

I feel sorry for the guy/gal who sold them to him. They’ll no doubt be blamed somehow.
I know this is an unanswerable question but here it is. If someone is about to switch off, why don’t they just off themselves instead of screwing up the lives of so many innocent lives? There has to be a moment where they can make that decision. Instead, they want to make others pay for whatever perceived wrong they’ve been dealing with.
I don’t know if the bullying as a young child would have been the result of feminine tendencies but do-it-yourself hormone replacement therapy is still very much in the realm of speculation.
Who knows what is going on in their twisted minds. I do believe they have a warped idea of what death really is. Too many video games where you can just re-boot has done this.

Agreed totally, though those young men may also be spared lots of the college propaganda. Still, you can feel the beat-down in too many of those who do make it to college.
It is hard to explain exactly, but having taught at both male- and female-majority colleges young men in the former seem to experience classroom competition and work as reinforcing of their male identities, whereas in the latter it seems as if they hold back full effort in something of an effort not to feel emasculated on some level.
Beto aka Bobby interrupted the press conference that Gov. Abbott was giving concerning the carnage in Uvalde. He was ignorantly, as usual, politicizing the horrible situation there and should be ashamed! 😡 What an idiot.
Each state is different. 1 may have been in the hall for some reason as he came in.
Memphis schools are some of the worst, and most violent. Blue City. Police are hated.
We live in the next county over, small town of 7,000. Our schools are small for those grades, plus a private school. Middle/HS combine with the next city. Don’t know about class size. But doors are locked with a buzzer/speaker. Course that would not stop AR 15 rounds.

That same person should also punish you because of your complicity in evil for your whole life right? Would you be okay with that? Oh, you only want them to stop some evil.
God will not intervene to stop evil in half measures. When He acts it will be to judge all evil and stop it all. And then to punish it all. He suffers evil in order to give us time to come to Him. When He does act it will be too late to change your mind.
If humankind were not so corrupt we could stop all of this ourselves. It is the corruption of those in leadership and of us who allow ourselves to be led by corrupt people that is responsible for this. Don't try to pawn your responsibility for this off on God.
Would you give up your free will and become a robot in order to stop all this suffering? Why don't you turn in your guns?
P.S. If you want to blame God for one evil act you have to give Him credit for the millions of Mothers who love and protect their children every day, and for the instinct He put there to make that happen. We know one is right and the other is abhorrent because He created it that way. Will you give Him credit for creating a mother's love for her children or will you just blame Him for every evil deed?
I read it and don’t see it as being sympathetic. See the product of adultery and drug abuse. Without the false morality of our society over the past couple of generations, it probably wouldn’t have happened. Look around us. The evil inclinations are too obvious. It’s gone so far, it’s in style for people look evil.<<<

My view was based on how they spent so much time emphasizing his mental health and bullying issues, which is shifting blame from his own volition and personal responsibility.
I do totally agree about the societal decay and total collapse of moral structure.
Democrat Beto O’Rourke, who is running against Abbott for governor, interrupted Wednesday’s news conference, calling the tragedy “predictable.” Pointing his finger at Abbott, he said: “This is on you until you choose to do something different. This will continue to happen.” O’Rourke was escorted out as some in the room yelled at him, with Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin calling Beto a “sick son of a bitch.”
