Multiple people are reported killed and injured in a shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. Get the latest on the Uvalde, Texas school shooting in our LIVE BREAKING NEWS COVERAGE.
If you read The Gateway Pundit they broke the news of this massacre at 2pm Eastern. Before everyone else. Local San Antonio news was only thing on. Took Fox News nearly till The Five to break in. The media by 3pm knew about the shooting but didn’t care. Took till Governor Abbott announced that many kids had died that the national news went wall to wall. Fox News mentioned the shooting at 4:38pm for the first time.
I agree..and at this point.....I don't believe it was a “wag the dog” thing...but there is no doubt they will beat this like a drum to avoid talking about the out of control inflation...crashing stock market...and the price of food and gas ...but it will be the lead story from the MSM for as long as they can keep the “sheep's” mind off of what is really important to them and this country...
I know. I mean the propagandists who will speak on his “behalf” for the sake of stopping the cycle.
And I don’t know what “TODT” means.
Heavy.com needs to know about those photos.

Exactly. Heaven only knows where he’d have ended up, though, if he hadn’t crashed his car.
The high school maybe?
Instead, we’ll be assailed by the drumbeat of GUN CONTROL NOW for the forseeable future. <<<
And I will be ignoring that drumbeat for the foreseeable future.
Is it even real? Hard to say.
Not sure why your reply to my statement regarding “mental illness” requires anger. This (your first comment): “Mental illness is the root of EVIL!!” is very different from the one you just replied to me (2nd comment): “All people who are mentally ill do not commit acts of violence HOWEVER most acts of violence ARE committed by someone who is mentally ill !!”—a) Your first statement implied that mental illness is the cause of all evil- that is not a true statement- evil and mental illness are NOT same-, and your comment disparages ANYONE who has struggled with a mental illness. b) Your 2nd comment is more accurate- many, (but not all nevertheless) acts of violence are done by someone with a mental illness but the converse simply is not true. I do understand that you are VERY angry with the shooter AND very angry that this happened at all (more appropriate place for your anger to be directed- rather than at anyone who has ever had a mental illness, or at me). I’m angry it happened as well-
Lookner just reported that he had moved from N. Dakota to Uvalde. That might set a lot of people off. Uvalde is ugly. Nice but ugly.
I also believe that these VERY VIOLENT video games these kids are spending hours and hours on are making them completely numb to the value of life in the real world!!
BINGO!!...Too bad we dont get to interview the shooter now...but >> God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
I can’t find his page. Maybe they removed it.
The same applies to America, her freedoms, and insane acts of violence.
Laws that support, life, liberty, and property are right and proper. Many laws act as a deterrent and will stop people on the margin from doing bad things...this is akin to diversifying away the non-systematic risk. Thus laws criminizing murder, are right and proper.
However, gun control is targeted at the systematic risk. And what did we say about that risk, kids? Riiiiight....It is unavoidable..
In a nation like America where freedom reigns and the individual trumps the collective, dopey ideas like assault weapon bans, magazine capacity limits, monthly caps on gun purchases do not help. That's because the risk of a maniac going on a killing spree is non-diversifiable. It is idiosyncratic.
The adults in the room understand on some baseline level, in a relatively free society of 330MM people, you'll always have a few pathological maniacs who will kill. Thus, random acts of violence like this tragic shooting, are the systematic risk of a free society.
Sure, maybe some laws can help, like liberal application of the 2nd Amendment and concealed carry. However, in large measure, unless you weld a GoPro to the heads of 330MM people with central monitoring in DC (and even that wouldn't be perfect...after all people in jail still get drugs and weapons), psychos gonna psycho.
The only way to achieve the numbers Trump20122020 posted (which, by the way, need to be population adjusted), is to shred civil liberties. THAT is the ugly truth that statists suppress in these debates.
Indeed, the problem arises when pathological politicians propose legislation like gun control - aimed at the systematic risk, which by definition you can't evade/will always be there - that simply erodes the freedoms of law-abiding citizens.
Is this by design? I doubt bureaucrats are that smart, but I don't doubt the darkness of their souls.
16 people shot and you blame law enforcement? Send your resume to Biden.
If you have an active shooter and Law enforcement is chasing him and he bolts after crashing his truck and you let him get into a school. Who’s fault is that? They could be partly to blame..
He had apparently just killed his grandmother somewhere else.
So this is Biden’s fault for not controlling the border?
yes partly but also our fault for not letting the police do their job to the fullest!!!
in southern Arizona local LEO and Border Patrol cooperate together quite often
hardly ever see ICE
FBI has a presence, but trying to frame patriots keeps them pretty occupied
in my rural county all LEO respond:
BP, state troopers, deputies and local police
it's all hands on deck when there is a problem
I wonder if uvalde had a defund the police effort...
