The minister of the church we attended on Sunday gave a bold sermon on abortion. Mentioned Pelosi by name. He showed on a big screen that photo of the baby in the womb grabbing the doctor’s finger — the pic that got Drudge kicked off TV years ago. He dared TPTB to arrest him and/or take away the church’s tax-exempt status for his very political statements.
The Scriptural references and illustrations are some I’d never heard before, and I’ve been hearing them for decades. We were impressed.

This argument is a canard, and if this woman calls herself a Christian, she owes her God some learning about Scripture. Simply put:
The death penalty is a state action.
Abortion is a personal action.
Uh, because a preborn baby is 100% innocent, while a death row execution comes a after a trial by jury where 100% of the jury voted guilty, a judge decided the crime was so heinous that it deserved the death penalty, and after decades of appeals where, eventually, every single one was lost.
Still, I’ll agree to ban capital punishment if liberals will agree to ban abortions.
