Exercising his authority as prelate of San Francisco, Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone proclaimed that Nancy Pelosi’s support for unlimited abortion at all stages of gestation prevents her from legitimately receiving communion in the Catholic Church. Cordileone demanded that Pelosi repudiate and repent for “the grave evil she is perpetrating.”
Will she comply, or will Pelosi try to pick a fight at the altar?
Unfortunately, Speaker Pelosi’s position on abortion has become only more extreme over the years, especially in the last few months. Just earlier this month she once again, as she has many times before, explicitly cited her Catholic faith while justifying abortion as a “choice,” this time setting herself in direct opposition to Pope Francis: “The very idea that they would be telling women the size, timing or whatever of their family, the personal nature of this is so appalling, and I say that as a devout Catholic”; “They say to me, ‘Nancy Pelosi thinks she knows more about having babies than the Pope.’ Yes I do. Are you stupid?”[4]

The bishop really tied her tail in a knot by making her public disavow by her support for abortion THEN go to confession before the ban is lifted.
She won’t do it so she will remain in a state of mortal sin.

If she repudiates then her Democrat supporters will turn on her in an instant. She will become no better than Trump in their eyes. So she must pick her side: the Democrats or the Church, but not both.

Saw her archbishop on EWTN last week. He pretty much said that on tv last week.
As a child of God I hear-by give the Bishop permission to Smite Nancy firmly and repeatedly if she gets anywhere near the altar. Personally I wouldn’t mind something a little more vigorous, but I suspect the Lord would be merciful to an old dried out hag like nancy.
Just thank God it’s happening now. I was glad to see that the Napa bishop did so as well. All of the bishops under Archbishop Cordileone should be doing this.
I don’t think there’s much chance with Biden’s bishop in DE, somebody I’ve never heard of from Rockville Centre and installed last year. But you never know.
However, there’s no chance at all that Wilton Gregory, the Democratic Archbishop of DC, will excommunicate or even pretend to scold Nancy.
