I’m baffled by conservatives who support Russian, up to and including slandering Ukrainian soldiers. It’s a crappy part of the world. There’s crime and corruption on both sides. Both sides have executed POWs. Russian troops have killed civilians as well.

But, Russia invaded Ukraine. Ukraine poses no threat to Russia, but Russia chose to aggress against a smaller, poorer neighbor. Russia isn’t a bastion against globalism. Russian state-run media spews the line that the corrupt, thieving oligarchs wants it to spew; exactly what people accuse western society of is the undisputed reality in Russia. Russia has one of the highest abortion rates in the world. Putin has said and done things every bit as creepy as Biden or any other western politician you could name. So why the support for Russian aggression?

They’re on here to promote Russian propoganda, most are Russian.

They aren’t conservative.

Ukraine violated the Minsk agreement, and the coup in 2014 of a legally elected president of Ukraine violated another agreement.

If we don’t want others to engage in coups then we shouldn’t be doing them either.

LOL. This is the CNN/cartoon slogan. You need to go back and start reading about the "Orange Revolution," the roles of CIA-funded NGO's, the push to expand NATO, and especially, the Maidan Coup and the US government take-over of Ukraine Government and policy under Obama (which facilitated Hunter Biden's corruption), the internal war against Russian-speaking Ukrainians in the East.

I’ve seen the videos of Ukrainian Nazis killing POWs. The videos of Russians executing POWs and civilians aren’t available for some reason, unless outright staged.

I am baffled by conservatives who are so naïve as to believe that suddenly Pelosi, Biden,, Sean Penn, Bosnia Johnson, the leaders of the EU in Germany, Soros, Schwab, CNN, Schumer etc are suddenly on the side of freedom. Uke fans are supporting globohomo.

I haven't seen that support. There are many conservatives, myself included, who believe that the US should not be involved with this war on either side. Occasionally, the lack of support for Ukraine is characterized as support for Russia, but I believe that is a mischaracterization.

“I’m baffled by conservatives who support Russian, up to and including slandering Ukrainian soldiers.”

We’re baffled by people who claim to be conservative yet have no problem with us sending billions of dollars of cash and equipment to a far way country that has nothing to do with us except for that country being used in the first impeachment of President Trump. Also, Ukraine is a corrupt country, a very corrupt country.

Claims such as “slandering Ukrainian soldiers” are not a thing. If this does happen, it’s in such a small number as to be unnoticed in comparison to the actual slanders of Russian soldiers (there are dozens if not hundreds or thousands of postings on FR accusing Russians of killing civilians, of being incompetent, etc. Where are the similar postings regarding Ukrainians?).

The elephant in the room though is the unrelenting over-the-top support for Ukraine by the Democrats and the media.

That should make us think very hard before we consider demonizing Russians.

Nonsense. Before I get labeled at a Putin-bot, let’s clear the air: we have no business being there and should not interfere. Let Ukraine fall. What will happen, will happen.

and give back our extra $40 billion which will again , be “lost” or actually given to the Biden family and democrat slush fund in the form of “aid”.

I don’t support Russia, but I also don’t support Ukraine. It’s just Bosnia 2.0 at this point.
