“An error by a company that prints ballots for several Pennsylvania counties made thousands of mail-in ballots unreadable Tuesday as voters were deciding hotly contested primaries for governor and U.S. Senate in one of the nation’s most important battleground states,” PBS reported.
“Officials in Lancaster County, the state’s sixth most populous, said the problem involved at least 21,000 mailed ballots, only a third of which were scanning properly,” the report stated. “The glitch will force election workers to redo ballots that can’t be read by the machine, a laborious process expected to take several days. Officials in the GOP-controlled county pledged that all the ballots will be counted eventually.”
“Citizens deserve to have accurate results from elections and they deserve to have them on election night, not days later,” Josh Parsons, a Republican and vice chair of the county board of commissioners, said at a news conference. “But because of this, we’re not going to have final election results from these mail ballots for probably several days, so that is very, very frustrating to us.”
“The Lancaster Board of Elections, of which Parsons is a member, renewed its criticism of a 2019 state voting law that expanded mail-in balloting but prevented counties from opening mailed ballots before Election Day to check for errors,” the report continued.

So they don’t do QA on the ballots that arrive from the printer? You scan samples from the top, middle, and bottom of each box.

Absolutely. If one doesn’t understand the responsibility that comes with the right and duty to vote then one should not vote.
I have NEVER voted by mail; to me, that cheapens the franchise. And I have always voted in EVERY election, even the local so-called “dog-catcher” ones.
Act-1 in the democrat playbook is to create chaos by any means.
That opens the door for them to cheat as they “fix” the problem they manufactured.
It is much more difficult for them to cheat when things are well planned, well organized and tightly controlled from start to finish.
Just practicing for the Nov. steal.
Think of it as “democracy” in action—Western oligarch version 1.0.
They hope version 2.0 will steal the votes without bothering with errors and delays.
If you’re out of the voting location you should not be able to vote unless in the military. The date for voting is known months or years in advance. If people can’t arrange their schedule to vote that’s their problem.
This is known as "curing" the ballot. Make a percentage of the ballots un-scan-able, enough to swing an election. Have partisan polling workers take the kicked-out ballots, fill out fresh, scannable ballots (or produced them on laser printers using a randomized pen-mark jpeg files) and change the real voters' intent to the Dem candidate. Re-scan, recount, and the election is successfully stolen. Who needs Mules when you have dumb-asses counting what they want to count?
If people can’t arrange their schedule to vote that’s their problem.

mobile thus out of their home on election day.
Made all the easier by a happily complicit media.
They could have had a set of test ballots printed to check for errors. Why didn’t they?

Mass mail-in ballots are far different than the old-school absentee ballot. Back in the day, if I had to work my 24 hour shift on election day, or was traveling on business, I would have to go to the county building and sign my life away for the reason I can’t vote on election day. Then I could vote. It used to work just fine (except in Cook County).
And here we go. Need to have a conservative at the table watching this. 20,000 votes will swing it.
Elections in our modern age should be very simple and 99.9% accurate. This is an abomination.
Speaking of the printing of ballots... Why hasn’t law enforcement tracked the source of blank ballots that found their way to Stacie Abrams’ office and other ballot mills in 2020?

I vote at an early voting site provided by my county and have
for many years. I can’t remember the last time I voted on the
specified election day.
In my mother’s district in Montgomery County, they had Dominion Voting Systems in place for the first time. After she fed her Republican ballot into the scanner atop a plastic barrel, I remarked: “Feels like your vote was just shredded and tossed in the trash.”
Where have I heard that before?
