Mass mail-in ballots are far different than the old-school absentee ballot. Back in the day, if I had to work my 24 hour shift on election day, or was traveling on business, I would have to go to the county building and sign my life away for the reason I can’t vote on election day. Then I could vote. It used to work just fine (except in Cook County).
I vote at an early voting site provided by my county and have
for many years. I can’t remember the last time I voted on the
specified election day.
