In my mother’s district in Montgomery County, they had Dominion Voting Systems in place for the first time. After she fed her Republican ballot into the scanner atop a plastic barrel, I remarked: “Feels like your vote was just shredded and tossed in the trash.”

You would think it would be a lucrative business to build voting machines using off the shelf components and Open Source software so that people know what goes on with them. Seems like everyone would clamor for them, everyone who does not want a fraud machine that is. Would be a good project for someone like Elon.

My other thought on that is; Why don’t we have companies that build ATM or Point of Sale machines build these voting machines. They’ve got a good track record for security and lack of glitches.

Instead we have these machines, the roots of which go back to Venezuela. I suppose that’s because we are now a corrput banana republic ourselves.
