Texas Supreme Court Allows Child Abuse Investigations Over Mutilative Sex Surgeries To Proceed

The Texas Supreme Court on Friday found that the state may continue to pursue child abuse investigations against parents who subject their children to radical and irreversible puberty blockers or mutilative surgeries under the auspices of “changing” the child’s sex.

The court’s ruling comes amid a lawsuit brought by the parents of a 16-year-old child, who were investigated by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services after Gov. Greg Abbott sent a directive to the agency explaining how “surgeries that can cause sterilization, mastectomies, removals of otherwise healthy body parts, and administration of puberty-blocking drugs or supraphysiologic doses of testosterone or estrogen” would amount to child abuse under existing state law.

District Judge Amy Clark Meachum of Travis County had previously issued an injunction blocking all such investigations statewide while the parents (named in the case as the “Does”) proceeded with their case, rather than simply issuing an injunction to temporarily block further investigations into the “Doe” family. An appeals court let her injunction stand, but the highest court in Texas found that the lower court had “abused its discretion” in making such a broad ruling, and struck it down.

That means that while the Doe trial continues, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) can continue to investigate other parents for subjecting their minor children to puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, or surgical procedures that could leave them sterile.

The Texas Supreme Court also noted in its ruling that Abbott and Attorney General Ken Paxton did not possess “statutory authority” to directly force a DFPS investigation but that such authority rests with DFPS. Rather than creating a new category of child abuse and demanding that DFPS start investigating it, however, Abbott and Paxton’s letter explained how giving transgender surgeries or hormones to children already violated existing...

You know, if ONE good thing comes from all the LEFTIST INSANITY we’re up against these days, PLEASE let it be STATES taking back their rights, at a minimum.

FIRST, we need to kick out all the Socialist & RINO BUMS that ‘represent’ us and most of this stuff wouldn’t even be an issue.

Then, we can divvy up the states and the FREEDOM LOVERS can live in the middle and the LOSER FREAKS can have both coasts...and starve or kill one another off.

Two of my children have NCCAH, a very rare genetic disorder that people can carry their entire lives and not know it until they meet, marry, and have children with another carrier. Thus was the case for my husband and me.

Puberty blockers would have been prescribed to both of my children if the Endocrinologists at the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and the Cooks Medical Center in Ft. Worth had actually done their jobs and administered the ACTH stimulation test that I requested for my middle child. She clearly showed signs of it and was also suffering from crippling depression and gender dysphoria.

Instead, under the “gender affirmation” protocols, I got the run around and my concerns were brushed off.

It was not until my youngest son stopped growing that they did a bone scan and then the ACTH test for him. TOO LATE, his bones had already matured.

They finally decided to do the ACTH test on my middle child and confirmed what I suspected several years prior. Once again, we were TOO LATE to change anything.

Under this law, my husband and I would NOT be prosecuted. Our children had a legitimate medical need for puberty blockers.

Had they received proper treatment when I kept asking for it, my son’s growth would not have been stunted and my daughter may not be transitioning (please note, her body was masculinizing naturally because of her condition and her neural pathways were already conditioned to recognize free floating adrenal androgens as testosterone). My husband and I covertly resisted all efforts pushing my child towards surgery. At 18, my middle child worked for the money and paid for the top surgery herself. We wanted no part of it, but understood that there was no cure for what she had and if this eased some of her suffering, so be it. I’ve mentioned before how those years were a special level of hell for us, but it was 10 times worse for her as she was living it every single day.

The gender centers are all about affirmation and not curing. Do not take your child to them. Take them to an outside endocrinologist, because endocrines drive sexual preference, development, and mental health (why so many young people commit suicide...their endocrine system is in overdrive). For most young people, gender dysphoria dissipates by 20 to 22 years old, when the endocrine system settles back down. Resist, as much as possible, until then.

Also, if you openly defy the system, they can take your children away, so tread carefully.

Most of all, love them. Stay close to them. The system is designed to turn them against you, to see you as the unloving and unsupportive enemy. Fight, fight, fight to see if there isn’t an underlying medical condition that might be causing it and fight, fight, fight the system with all your might while assuring your children of your love daily.

They are doctors. They are not God.
