Thousands are gathering in Washington, D.C., and other cities around the country to protest the possible elimination of abortion rights, amid fears the Supreme Court is set to overturn the Roe v. Wade decision this summer.
The protests are taking place less than two weeks after a draft Supreme Court ruling leaked. The ruling signaled five conservative Supreme Court justices are set to overturn Roe v. Wade, which could lead to a number of states eliminating access to abortion.
“We are here because a handful of people have weaponized the very structures of our democracy,” Kelley Robinson, the executive director for the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, said at the start of the D.C. protest amid a light drizzle.

The only “abortion right” is the right not to be aborted.
I will never understand certain things.
I understand that there are people who support abortion rights and all of that.
What I just don’t understand, is the fiery devotion to this cause of being able to terminate a pregnancy, with no restrictions.
I just can’t get my arms around, the meltdown that the leftists have on this subject. To listen to the rhetoric, this is the end of life as we know it, if there are any restrictions on abortion. This is the end of the world, if liberalized abortion laws are only in effect in some states and not nationwide.
They are using the abortion issue as some proxy issue for women’s rights overall, and for “reproductive health” and “women’s health”. They make it sound like women have no rights at all regarding their healthcare decisions, if they don’t have the right to unfettered access to an abortion.
As I said, I may never understand all of this and why this issue causes leftist meltdown.
Dear assclowns. Please provide a copy of the bill of rights highlighting this “right” you claim to have.
Take a look at the photos of the people at the pro abortion rallies.
Listen to the venom that comes from their mouths.
They are extremely unhappy people.
Why are they so unhappy?

I watched a bit of Steven Crowder with his "man on the street" interview asking people about what they thought about the Roe v. Wade decision and how it might be sent back to the states. Turns out a lot of people, when they really think about it, don't understand what abortion really is. They jump on the "woman's right to choose" pony and it's purely emotional and off they go.
They Went over the cliff with late and post term abortion and here we are. Democrats always blow themselves up.They just don’t have the capacity to stop before they hit the wall. the endless protesting and shouting gives them a sense of belonging.

Though the radical leftists are foaming at the mouth, I don’t think the rest of the country cares very much. That is why they have to pretend that this will affect all other aspects of life when that is not true at all. Liberals are flailing away in an attempt to make people care when most are simply trying to survive in this terrible economy.

I was pro-choice back in the early 70’s and there was a risk of me knocking up a casual acquaintance, or three.
But then I grew up.
57 years ago it wasn’t even legal for married people to buy contraceptives in Connecticut.
Now we can leave live infants on a table to die.
The pro-aborts call that progress.
