President Joe Biden got angry during a speech to unions on Wednesday, yelling about the long lines of people trying to get food during the coronavirus pandemic.
“Remember those long lines you’d see in a television and people lining up in all kinds of vehicles just to get a box of food in their trunk? How quickly they forget people were hurting,” Biden said, raising his voice.

The solution for this is to pass another spending bill. Give ukraine 500 billion dollars. I think maybe they know they are losing midterms so they are sending all they can to ukraine so they will send it back to the politicians. Just like the hunter energy company.

Exactly! He probably caught a glimpse on the news of people doing curbside pickup and thought it was some sort of food crisis.
My guess is his handlers keep him completely uninformed, except about the things they want him to read off the teleprompter.
My church runs one and we also run a parenting center for parents who need help. What it was that annoyed me was that this was not going to people in need. It was going to anyone who pulled up in a car.
When you go to a food bank there is a certain amount of societal pressure to actually be in need and to not take more then your share. It does not always work but it keeps the moochers down to an acceptable level so there actually is enough for people who do need help.
But when there are no controls, you have no interaction with any body and you are wearing a mask anyway... the breaks are all off. End result is that a lot of the food did not get to people who needed it and a lot of it was wasted. I saw people take a couple things out of the box and then dump the rest in the trash.
This is type of behavior lays in bad habits that in the end will bring society down.
It also hits the volunteers hard. Especially the young people who see this. Rather then leaving feeling they had done a good thing they saw their efforts wasted and exploited.
Young people should not be forced into cynicism. That is for us battle scarred middle aged people.
They WAIT that long, and longer to ride a $HITTY ride at a Disney theme park.
ALSO-—NOT being able to get into stores due to COVID.
The dimbulb failed to mention that the lines to get into the store was the result of the CDC and his pet monkey Fauci spouting rules that only 30 shoppers at a time were allowed in 150,000 square foot mega store.
DEMAND a MINIMUM age of $15 per hour PLUS benefits-—and then say that “prices have to come down”.

Biden took an increasingly aggressive tone attacking Trump as he sought to reframe the November midterm elections, which Republicans are favored to win in part due to soaring inflation they blame on Biden’s policies and government spending.
“My Republican colleagues said these programs to help the working class and middle class people, that’s actually — that’s why we have inflation. They’re dead wrong. Under my predecessor, the great MAGA king, the deficit increased every single year he was president,” Biden said in a speech to Chicago electrical union members.
President Joe Biden visited a family farm in Illinois on Wednesday where he announced steps his administration is taking to lower the costs of farming and food.
The president announced that his administration will expand insurance for double cropping, which allows farmers to plant a second crop on the same land in the same year. He also announced the government would increase technical assistance to farmers and double the funding to produce fertilizer domestically.

“Right now, Americans are fighting on two fronts. At home, it’s inflation and rising prices. Abroad, it’s helping Ukrainians defend their democracy and feeding those who were left hungry around the world because Russian atrocities exist,” he said.
With Ukraine and Russia making up about 30 percent of the global wheat exports, international aid organizations have warned that millions are at risk of going hungry, particularly in Africa and the Middle East. Biden said the U.S. was working to address those shortages.
“We can make sure the American agriculture exports will make up for the gap in Ukrainian supplies,” he said.

If they quit diluting gas with ethanol and use the grain for food, then will gas go up another 10 percent or will the change cause less obvious changes in production and prices?
