Who Is Kathy Barnette? The Candidate Shaking Up The Pennsylvania Senate Race

Romney just likes to play President....big man...this is what I would do...and usually the opposite of Trump.

I believe Oz supports Trump and America First and the party 100%. Now he won't always agree...but he's closer to Trump than anyone else.

Kathy?? Is she just a token...on a tryout for the Republican party. Maybe another position...say the house..

She looked pretty good from what I knew abut her. But, I just saw an article asking if she will be the Christine O'Donnell of 2022. According to the article she will not say anything that will say where she cam from, who she is married to, where she had her military service at. Where she worked. It is a complete unknown. I cant find anything on the internet that backs her up and explains her past. She is obviously hiding something. So if I were in Pa I would be very worried about her. She maybe a complete blowhard. Her background look to perfect.

I'm worried about her winning the GOP primary and then getting shellacked in November.

Exactly that kind of thinking got us McCain in 2008 and Romney in 2012. Even if they had won, we would have been the losers.

It's 2022. Let's try nominating the gal with fire in her belly and then supporting her to the hilt through election day. Let's hammer home the *issues* not the candidate.

Would you prefer she was a polished politician who can talk for 30 mins without saying anything? She looks like a fighter.

If she was running for mayor or governor I might think differently -- but she's running for a seat in the U.S. Senate, for heaven's sake. How many "fighters" has that legislative body ever had?

A real fighter would be bored to death of that place.

I would recommend voting values over who is electable.

The good news is that I've always done that. The bad news is that when it comes to Federal offices, I've voted for a winning candidate in a general election less than 20% of the time in my adult life.

If one drills down to the core, the number 1 attribute is...

Being a Constitutional patriot supporting “America First”.

After that, everything else is meaningless.

The dilemma here in Pennsylvania is that the Kathy Barnette types can't possibly win a statewide race, barring some kind of miracle.

Statewide races in PA are won and lost in the suburbs of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. The typical swing voter here is a dopey suburban Karen who has been wearing diapers on her face for the last two years. I can't imagine what would ever compel one of those dingbats to vote for a "fire-in-the-belly" conservative -- even one WITHOUT the questions Barnette has about her background.

The problem is that a legislative body doesn't fit the personality of a real fighter. At the end of the day, being a "fighter" in the U.S. Senate is useless unless you've got dozens of other people on your side.

Even Rand Paul -- my favorite U.S. Senator right now -- can't do much to advance his cause because he's one of only a handful (if that) of true constitutional conservatives in Washington.

Actually, Trump proved to meet my criteria - America First Patriot.

When Trump came down the escalator and spoke of the invasion of ILLEGAL ALIENS (something no one else had done), I knew he met my criteria.

I have become Trump's biggest fan over the years ... but even I would admit that during the 2015-16 primary campaign season, I didn't think the guy even knew what the U.S. Constitution had to say about anything. LOL.

Hannity had Oz on tonight and they both did a real hack job on Kathy. They are scared to death. Unlike Oz, Kathy never supported abortion, trans surgery for kids, and red flag laws. Trump lost a lot of respect from conservatives here in PA over his misguided endorsement of Oz. She is rolling here.
