Monday on CNN’s “New Day,” author and journalist Carl Bernstein accused former President Donald Trump of being “the first seditious president in the history of the United States.”

Bernstein, known for his reporting on former President Richard Nixon’s Watergate scandal, said Trump was a “seditious president who staged a coup to stay in office and not allow the transfer of power” to his successor.

Perhaps Bernstein should take a time out, and look for credible evidence that there was a coup. He should take a look at the thousands of reports of voter fraud, and watch 2000Mules, before he stupidly makes crazy claims that the 2020 election was secure.

Trump refused to accept the outcome because it conflicts with his self image. That’s not sedition. He didn’t take up arms. He didn’t tell the People to do anything except let their voices be heard and peacefully protest. He fought in the courts. He isn’t wrong about irregularities in 2020 but ultimately he was rejected because Orange Man bad and mean tweets.

If not for covid fear mongering more voters might’ve overlooked that. Now that more died from covid under Joe even in year one than under Trump even with vaccines and therapies, who is telling the truth about government covid response? The media is silent. We were fortunate to have Trump as POTUS in that moment or the situation would be even worse.
