Davis: Democrats can win the 2022 midterms by asking Republicans to answer two questions

Here are two questions that Senate and House Democratic campaign committees should demand — through well-financed national and state ad campaigns, on broadcast network, cable news channels and social media — that Republicans answer, yes or no:

1.  Will you repudiate publicly Donald Trump’s praise of Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine? 

2.  Do you agree with the Supreme Court’s decision allowing states to make it a crime for a woman to have an abortion if they become pregnant as a result of rape or incest? 

Just “yes” or “no” to both.

This ghoul first emerged with a book called “The Emerging Democratic Majority” in 1974. All they did was claim the moral high ground, kicked Nixon out, and wrecked the country, leading to Reagan. He was one of Clinton’s big fixers, a total creep.

1) Trump didn't praise Putin's invasion of Ukraine, he said Putin was smart and our leaders were dumb.

2) As Justice Alito's leaked opinion so eloquently explains, there is nothing in the United States Constitution that permits the United States Supreme Court to make any such determination regarding abortion, so according to the Tenth Amendment, that decision is left up to the states.

"Trump never praised Putin's invasion. Calling it "savvy" is not praise. It should be noted that President Trump kept Putin's ambitions thwarted while he was president."

"I agree with the Supreme Court that the voters of each state should have the ability to enact their own abortion laws."

Now here's where it get's tricky. Interviewers will curtly demand a "yes or no" answer to each question.

Just “yes” or “no” to both.

"These are not 'yes' or 'no' questions. Have you stopped beating your wife? Yes or no?"
