Since she was 18, Maxine Moul has been a registered Democrat.
She remained a Democrat while serving as Nebraska’s first female lieutenant governor under Gov. Ben Nelson in the 1990s and during a run for Congress in 2006.
Not now.
Moul recently switched her political party registration to Republican, joining what appears to be a small, but possibly significant shift to vote in a hotly contested gubernatorial primary.

I hope that not only is it a waste of time for them to do this, that they are also bombarded constantly with Republican fundraising letters and emails for the rest of their useless lives.
Be a shame if her car didn’t start. Not advocating anything. Just saying
Such integrity..
This is why conservatives need to find MAGA red Donald Dem DINOs to run in ‘Rat primaries.
Otherwise, we’re fighting half a battle.
“Be a shame if her car didn’t start.”
But it’d be more entertaining if she was able to drive to the International Space Station.
Pretty smart wouldn’t you say? I really don’t too many folks would think one step ahead of the other guy in that way. Still if it’s to be done the rats are more likely. They’re smarter. They are reacting to the SCOTUS leak. We’re reacting to THEM. We’re just too slow.
They’ll do whatever they have to do.
This is how Thad Cochran beat Chris McDaniel.
This is why it is important for us to get everyone out to
the polls in primary season.
Primaries these days are VERY IMPORTANT!
We have to get as many RINOs out of there as we can.
I’d also love to see Nebraska and other RED States enact so many “conservative policies” that they make life unbearable for liberals and Democrats. Force them all to move to the liberal hives throughout the country.
This trend is nationwide.
Unfortunately, RINOs outnumber DINOs 50 to 1
"14th Amendment, Section 2: Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State."
In fact, regardless that corrupt, alleged election-stealing Congress pulled the rare state sovereignty card on J6, Congress criminally (imo) ignored its constitutionally enumerated duties to guarantee each state a republican form of government and investigate possible violations of Section 2 on J6 imo.
"Article IV, Section 4 (4.4): The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government [emphasis added], and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."
"14th Amendment, Section 5: The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article."
I hope that Trump, Herbster and other Trump-endorsed primary candidates, are at least aware of possible violations of 4.4 and Section 2 by crossover voters.
That would be in Lincoln and Omaha...the twin turds in the Nebraska punch bowl.
Herbster and Pillen are pretty far ahead of the rest of the pack. If anything, Pillen looks like he is running to Trump-Endorsed Herbster’s right.
Raw plurality wins, but Dems switching over to vote for Lindstrom look to be spinning their wheels from where I sit in Arizona.
I haven’t seen any recent poll suggesting it’s NOT a 3-way race, including the RINO squish (and liberal darling) Lindstrom. It’s supposedly close enough between the 3 that the 2 good candidates could easily split the conservative vote, and the next Nebraska Governor will be a Democrat one way or the other — he just might “identify” as a Republican, in Lindstrom’s case, but he’s still really a Democrat.
Nebraska can and should do better, but there’s a decent chance they won’t.
This explains why so many Democrat politicians have no integrity. Their voters don’t have it either, nor expect it from them.
Pillen is well-known and respected but I think he’s going to look like “more of the same”, which isn’t a plus in these crazy times. A lot depends on how Herbster weathers these storms.
I’ll go with Herbster based entirely on the Trump endorsement.
