Morning Joe reacted with predictable horror to the news of the leak of a reported draft Supreme Court decision overturning Roe vs. Wade.
On this morning's show, Joe Scarborough said the opinion is illegitimate: "Obviously, the perception for 70 percent of Americans waking up this morning, is, is going to be, most likely, that this is an illegitimate decision by an illegitimate court."
Former Newsweek editor Jon Meacham portentously proclaimed that the decision is a "nightmare scenario . . . . we're entering the darkest period."
Obama's former Acting Solicitor General, Neal Katyal, said "Honestly, I wanna cry. You know, I wanna cry in so many different ways."

Back when he was a congressman from Florida’s conservative panhandle, Scarborough consistently voted in favor of pro-life legislation. Now he sounds pretty much like Rachel Maddow.

1) Roe represents the end of federalism, the Left hates it when people can vote with their feet and states having different laws. They want everything run and controlled by the central government.
2) I'm really starting to believe those stories of elites using baby body parts. I mean, look at someone like Sandra Bullock. She's in her late 50s and doesn't look a day over 30.

I don’t get it. All they are doing is remanding the question back to the states where it properly belongs. There is no federal right to abortions enshrined in the Constitution of the United States. Convince me I’m wrong.
