Supreme Court ‘Draft’ Decision on Roe v. Wade LEAKED – Fingers Quickly Point at Potential Culprit

The U.S. Supreme Court is apparently planning to vote to END Roe v Wade in a DRAFT OPINION by Justice Samuel Alito — leaked to Politico this evening.

The draft opinion was leaked to the press – something that is almost unprecedented.

Developing………
The Daily Mail reported:

The Supreme Court is planning to vote to strike down the decision of Roe v. Wade, long considered a vanguard of guaranteeing a right to an abortion in the United States.

The opinion draft – originally obtained by Politico – was written by Justice Samuel Alito, one of the six justices appointed by Republican presidents on the nine-member court, repudiating both Roe and the 1992 Planned Parenthood vs. Casey decision.

‘Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,’ Alito writes. ‘We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,’ he continues in the document, titled ‘Opinion of the Court.’

‘It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.’

Politico noted that this is the first such case in modern history of a Supreme Court draft decision being leaked to the public while the case was still pending.

It is unclear which justice would support such a move, which would typically be released at term's end -- by June.

But the fact that the planned decision was LEAKED -- which is considered a criminal act -- is almost as big a story as the decision, and it has shocked Court experts.

Influential site SCOTUSblog expressed the sentiment bluntly:

And it didn't take long for fingers to point at the most far-left justice on the Court: Sonia Sotomayor.

Wow, I hadn’t got to that reality yet. He would have faced the unhinged leftist wrath when it came out. But at least he would have been prepared for it.

Yes, but I bet they are giving her courtesy access. Wouldn't be surprised if it was her, but maybe Sotomayor the “wise Latina.”

“Huh??????”

“If a Supreme Court justice leaks a decision, is that impeachable?”

I’m sure it is a crime an a janitor, say, who did this (assuming it’s real) would be prosecuted.

I’m sure it is a crime, and a janitor, say, who did this (assuming it’s real) would be prosecuted.

—>. I’m making the point whomever leaked this needs to be arrested and prosecuted and jailed for a long time.

No more covid. They need a new disease. Maybe the bird flu will mutate into something really lethal with a little help from a lab.

1. “whom” is only used for the object, not the subject. “Send not to know for whom the bell tolls” as opposed to “Who’s the leader of the club that’s made for you and me.”
2. No crime on the books. It’s a violation of legal ethics, so if a lawyer did it, he’d get disciplined. But a smart lawyer would use a trustworthy gopher or non-traceable electronic means, so he wouldn’t get caught.
3. Didn’t a law clerk already breach confidentiality when he publicly revealed that Brave Sir Roberts said in conference with colleagues that he wasn’t going to apply Bush v. Gore to the Texas 2020 election case, “because there are street riots”? What ever happened to that law clerk?

I am the subject.

The leaker is the object.

As for the law, you’re now on record you don’t support it. Ok.

Did their boss approve ? Time will tell

This was planned to the minute, in order to have rabble in the street, and also to feign outrage straight on into the mid-terms.

But it may not work. There are enough sane, decent and honest people to offset the bloodlust and hate. I'm guessing this one could go right back to Schumer, the scum.

The law is the law, and I support the rule of law. It’s determined by legislatures and signed into law by the executives. Prosecuting people for violating a “law” not passed by any legislature at the time of violation is unconstitutional. If they would pass such a law, I would support it, and the prosecution of violators. If a lawyer were caught in this violation of legal ethics, I would support his/her disbarment, and he and anyone who was implicated in the violation being publicly outed so he/she can never work for so much as a traffic judge in Podunk, MO, ever again. This/these a@@hole(s) should be a pariah coast to coast. But you don’t jail people for a crime that is not enacted, anymore than you keep people in solitary for 18 months for taking selfies in the corridors of the Capitol.

Unfortunately, the disbarred lawyer, after exposure, will be lionized and get a book deal and talk show appearances out of it, and get a job with some leftard organization paying a six figure salary. But there is no way to prosecute.

Your misconceptions of grammar should be corrected.

You are the subject, “making” is the verb, “the point” is the object, but “whomever leaked this” is a subordinate clause in which the leaker is the subject, “leaked” is the verb and “this” is the object. So “whoever leaked this” is the proper usage. It’s a quibble, but grammar is grammar.

I’m not pompous, just pedantic. You, on the other hand, cannot take constructive criticism, which is another P word: Pig-headed.

I wouldn’t stay up waiting for it. Ostriches wait for their enemies to go away. In the interim, they stick their heads in the sand and pretend they don’t exist.

That’s actually a myth, I think, but so are journalistic ethics in the MSM.

Eventually, they’ll call Dinesh a right-wing extremist conspiracy theorist, and a white supremacist, and make fun of anyone who quotes him.
