EXCERPT:
A physicist trained at Caltech and Cambridge, he sees immortality as a mathematical challenge. To solve it requires first asking why we age. “The canonical answer,” Fink explained, “is that aging is inevitable and a fundamental condition of life.” Every organism degrades over time and eventually breaks down. End of story.
“But the story’s much weirder than we think,” Fink said. In a recent paper, he used math to demonstrate that “aging can be favored by natural selection.” That’s a shocking insight: It means that the first forms of life, which started billions of years ago, likely didn’t die.
Death emerged during the course of evolution because it conferred an advantage. In short, species that died fared better than those that didn’t.

Is Covid and/or the vaccines an attempt to force Mother Nature…force evolution…to combat aging? If half the planet or 3.5 billion are combating covid and vaccinations a few or some might evolve as a species to combat these things that are otherwise part of aging. Identifying that adaptation (genetically) can then be used via gene therapy to reverse aging or at least extend life in the elites.
And, that’s why the message was never to get healthy or take vitamin D. They want to force Mother Nature or evolution to respond to an extinction level threat. Greater the threat => greater the response!
It’s why the desperately need to track the health, to find the innate or adaptive or evolutionary genes to reverse aging -for them, not me and you of course.
Pretty wild theory but it fits the circumstances we see. Read the entire article and then tell me our elites are better.
We could’ve lived forever if it weren’t for Eve and the snake. But thank God for our salvation through Jesus. Born twice, die once.
You can use math to demonstrate anything non-intuitive.
Or you can just make up a story. Live forever? We can find an evolutionary advantage for that. 500 years? Evolution. 30 years? Evolution.
Barbie says, “Math is hard...let’s go shopping!”
Read this yesterday on MSN, but didn't dare post it because of the source. Very fascinating article though.
Here I thought the next best job prospects were in green energy. Now it’s bioengineering.
I doubt the Post included Bezos’s attempts.
LOL!
Why would I want to live forever on this rapidly deteriorating earth with its rotting civilization? God created us to live forever in His paradise if we only accept His free gift of Grace.
Immortality while still earthbound, has never been one of my goals.
When my To Be Used by Date is achieved, according to The Lord, show’s over.
I have nothing to prove by hanging on beyond the bitter end.
Dying is the only thing that makes life worth living.
Imagine how different the world would be if you knew you were never going to die. There would never be any urgency to get anything done because you know you ALWAYS can do it tomorrow.
And eventually people would have to stop having babies because of overpopulation.
So there’d be no incentive to get anything done, and no children to get it done for. We’d have a planet full of million-year-old people who had never had the joy of being a parent, who had no children to strive to make the world better for, and no motivation to do anything but sit around and eat bon-bons.
Yep, evolution doesn’t favor finding the truth of reality, it favors survival of traits that give an advantage. the math is pretty bulletproof on that.
I think they have circled back to rain forest math.
I remember reading a sci-fi story based on that premise.🤔
Claiming to be wise, they became fools……..
