Russia used a diesel submarine in the Black Sea to strike Ukrainian military targets with Kalibr cruise missiles, the first time Moscow has announced the use of its submarine fleet to hit its former Soviet neighbor.
The Russian defense ministry released a video showing a volley of Kalibr missiles emerging from the sea and soaring off into the horizon - to what the ministry said were Ukrainian military targets.
This is the first time Russia's military has reported using submarine strikes against Ukrainian targets, Interfax news agency reported on Friday.

I wonder what would be found if angry Democrats decided to check on whether there were any improprieties in 2019 when Energy Sec., Rick Perry visited Ukraine and soon after Ukraine awarded exploration contracts to a consortium of US oil companies in eastern Ukraine. When throwing stones it is important to be sure one is not in a glass house. I recently overheard an argument over Hunter’s thousands of dollars in payouts, then one of the people asked, well what about Trump’s son-in-law’s millions of dollars from Saudi Arabia. I have no information about either situation, but? Bottom line is, Russia is after Ukraine’s oil and gas and wants to prevent competition for Europe’s business.

Our glorious struggle to de-nazify Soviet-Era blocks of flats north of Kiev was successful. Blocks of flats are the main adversary, and we put large holes in them with expensive ordinance. After succesfully de-nazifying 751 blocks of flats in Kiev Oblast we have new challenges.
The blocks of flats we destroyed in Kiev Oblast were built during the 1980 Five Year Plan, with lean concrete so our apparatchiks could steal cement and sell it on the Black Market.
The glorious struggle must now continue in the East, where blocks of flats were constructed from better concerete as specified in the 1965 Five Year Plan. We will also fire a rocket into the Slaviansk GRES like we did in 2014 to show we mean business, even thought the unit we'll hit hasn't produced power in years. Our target is de-nazify at least 500 blocks of flats in the rest of Donetsk and Lugansk Oblasts. We will use 152 mm, cruise missles, Tochkas, and even things with names that sound more final than Tochka. After they have been denazified our Buryats and Chechens will move in and liberate jewelry, mobile phones, and major appliances.

Bottom line is, Russia is after Ukraine’s oil and gas and wants to prevent competition for Europe’s business.
***Yup. This war is about oil & gas reserves. The last time we had an oppressive regime invade their neighbor over oil & gas, an international coalition kicked his ass back to Iraq.
