The Conservative MP accused of watching pornography in the House of Commons has been named as Neil Parish.
He has been suspended from the parliamentary party and is under investigation by the Parliament standards commissioner.
Two female colleagues complained earlier this week after allegedly seeing him looking at adult content on his phone while sitting near them.
Mr. Parish referred himself for investigation, the party said.
If the standards commissioner, Kathryn Stone, finds that he has violated the code of conduct for MP's, possible sanctions range from having to make an apology to the Commons to suspension or expulsion...

Well whatever the UK Foreign Secretary this week talked about kickin all the Russkies out of Ukraine.
Liz Truss Conservative MP essentially said that the Russians need to take a beating in Ukraine
Well it looks like one of her fellow Tory MP's is doing another kind of .......
There’s a time and place for everything (except porn), but regardless that time and place is certainly not a government or public venue.
I attended a high school band concert, and my wife and I had to quietly sneak into the school auditorium via a back-corner door because we arrived late.
We sat undetected in a back row, and guy we knew (his son was in our daughter’s class) was sitting in front of us, watching porn on his cellphone. He didn’t see us, but it was awkward because my wife knew his wife fairly well from various school activities.
Why is voluntarily watching porn in the House of Commons a problem when it’s mandatory in the public schools?
To the left, it’s only unnaceptable when the wrong party watches it?
“On a related note, CNN reporter Jeffrey Toobin has volunteered to personally investigate this story.”
He’s got a good grasp of the subject.
So, it’s not that he was watching ‘adult content’ , it ‘where’ he was watching adult content...............
If he is prosecuted, and this goes to trial,
his Defense lawyer may ask a witness: “Mr. Smith, what, is “Porn”?
Can you define it for The Court, please?”
Mr. Smith replies: “Well, Counselor, I know’d it once I’d seen it. Didn’t need to see it no more!”

My wife worked at a small college when we were dating (1997). One day she took me to the school’s very large computer lab (a fair part of a basketball “auditorium” complete with stage at one end. And even the stage had a couple of long tables with computers at them. Users would use them with their back to the curtain on the stage.
She told me that many of the boys there would be working even past midnight. She was very impressed.
I looked it over and it hit me, so I asked, “where are the boys sitting when they are “working”? She said at the tables on the stage, where they look out over the room while at the computers.
I asked her if I could look at the computers, and she said, sure. So I logged into one and just did a simple search of downloaded files. Keep in mind, this was when there really wasn’t much “internet” yet. (I had just joined Freerepublic).
I sorted the downloaded files by size, largest first. I then opened one of the top ones. It was a JPG that, as computers did in those days, loaded the photo in horizontal sections. As the picture of a nude young lady painted itself on the screen, my wife sat there dumbfounded. I then showed her the filename. It was something like”nudecoeds2.jpg”. And there were HUNDREDS on just the one computer.
Those kids weren’t working. They were surfing porn. She reported it and the school’s response was, to paraphrase, boys will be boys. It was a catholic school, btw.
It’s why the Catholic Church and other churches have fallen. They don’t take sexual sin seriously. Many men are going to hell, masturbating all the way down.
As punishment, they are going to take away the whip.
Ev’rybody oughta just lighten up; half of what goes on in Parliament is already obscene.
He’s now resigned as MP. Which will mean an interestingly timed by-election. Since he happens to be my MP, it will be for my local constituency here in Mid Devon. What fun.
What’s the constituency think of him?
Btw, I’ve been thinking of making a Gypsy target for friends next weekend. Any tips on how to get the best taste?
He’s reasonably well-liked here, partly because he’s a farmer and this is a farming area, and partly because he’s what’s usually known as a ‘good constituency MP’ - ie one who replies to his constituent’s letters and takes up their complaints with government.
What on earth is a ‘Gypsy target’?
Gypsy tart
I’m none the wiser! Never heard of that either....
