Putin has launched a major salvage operation to the wreck of the downed Black Sea Fleet flagship to secure military secrets including coding devices, unexploded missiles, and possibly even attempt to bring the bodies of dead sailors back home, naval experts have claimed.
An eight-ship salvage flotilla including Kommuna, the world's oldest active warship, and submarine has been sent to the site of the sunken Moskva 80 miles off the coast of Odessa from Sevastopol, the large naval base in Russia-annexed Crimea, according to a report by Forbes.

I challenge the 3 of you to come up with an unbiased source of news that both sides accept.
I have very strong doubts that any of you will be capable of doing this.
No sarc tag needed.
Meanwhile the russist garbage keeps rotting unburied.
I don’t need to, as I believe almost nothing I read from either side.
Both leaders and countries suck.
I support neither. I support ending this ASAP.
Sending more weapons will only result in extending the war.
More deaths, and greater economic fallout that effects the world.
“What they can do is dependent on how deep the wreck is.”
Several sources reporting 50 meters.
:)
You’re right, we must believe what Russia says
... and Russia said the ship accidentally caught fire, and sank while being towed back to port
so basically, Russia said its own incompetence sank the ship
not Ukraine or NATO, they obviously can’t be blamed for a Russian-caused accident!
The world isn’t binary.
The 225-year-old frigate USS Constitution is the US Navy’s oldest commissioned warship, used mostly for training. It is totally green, with a zero carbon footprint, the USS Constitution is powered by wind.
One thing we can be sure of, Russia will make NO attempt to recover any of the dead sailors
Russia cares only about power, and doesn’t care about people - its own OR other countries’
A “Richard Ukrainium Update”.
But about 1 in 10 or 20 posts overall in FR are from the Daily Mail. Cited approvingly, as they often post things deliberately ignored in the US MSM. They are I believe the go-to foreign news source used to balance US MSM reporting.
So are they always propagandists then? Or only when their reports are inconvenient? Are you damning them to h**l or just to heck?
Your condemnation of the DM was binary.
The British captured the Russian’s most secret coding device in 1941 from a the German U-110 submarine.
I’m speaking largely with respect to the Ukraine v Russia issue.
They are good for crime stories and celeb stories.
Pretty much anything salacious.
I’m stating my opinion, you are free to disregard it as rubbish.
Also immigration stories?

Or all sorts of public policy stories where you probably agree with them. Indeed, I suspect you have agreed with them 100% of the time, till very recently. But you must make a special cutout for Ukraine.
RE: .....as dead crew families blast Kremlin ‘lies’ over sinking
Unfortunately for the families of the dead crew members, and all the families of the tens of thousands of dead Russian soldiers, they’re out of luck. Polls still show that MOST RUSSIANS still trust Putin and support his invasion.
The Daily Mail is the most influential conservative newspaper in the world. It is a great source.
The problem is all of the folk on FR who believe that conservatism somehow equals Putin’s regime of omnipresent government and no personal liberties.
“Polls still show that MOST RUSSIANS still trust Putin and support his invasion.”
This recording was one of the most remarkable examples of that:

It’s a wife talking to her soldier husband. She keeps trying to tell her husband that according the the news everything is going great and there are no Russian losses.
He tells her that yesterday he had to scrape the remains of his friend off his windshield after his brigade was all but wiped out.
She refuses to believe, and keeps trying to convince him that everything is going great because that is what is on television.
