The problem is all of the folk on FR who believe that conservatism somehow equals Putin’s regime of omnipresent government and no personal liberties.

Putin is an overt enemy of individual liberty and represents the antithesis of conservatism.

So I suspect that FR isn't quite as divided as one might think at first glance.
