Disney stock is taking a hit right now. I suspect they’ll take a bigger hit if this passes the House and goes to DeSantis for a signature.

I remember Eisner talking how it was adamant Disney policy not to get involved in politics. How times have changed.

Even WITHOUT the Disney peso-LGBTQLMNOP agenda, they should not have special tax status.
Do it, Florida!

While we’re at it, get rid of both CA/FL disney TFR’s.
No reason for a private corporation to have permanent no-fly TFR airspaces over them.

Some have argued this is The State of FL punishing Disney for exercising its First Amendment rights, although DeSantis is careful not to link this tax issue to the “anti-grooming” bill, despite what the media may say.
Certainly, in my view, politically activist woke companies deserve push-back, but we don’t like it when Conservative big business (are there any left?) suffer similar at the hands of awful leftist governors.
thoughts?

Wonder..when the smoke clears. if there will be any arrest made?
I guess it’s okay to corrupt the morals of minors if you are either a public school and or a huge corporation?

Okay, so other than removing their special rights, who benefits from this move? Will the surrounding communities and counties regain control and empower voters to have a say?

Doesn’t go far enough.
I suggest eminent domain, to take their pedo park and turn it into a safe for kids park.
Yesterday would not be soon enough.

I can understand a special tax status in 1967, when Disney World was being but that was over 50 years ago.

No matter how this plays out. Disney law suits, etc. It is absolutely the last thing a board of directors with any integrity would want to see engulfing the time and attention of management. As opposed to say . . . growth and profits and customer brand satisfaction, or new markets. Yeah. fight a convoluted state tax court battle, that’s the ticket! Surely totally worth it.
