Good. I dislike Florida weather, but their politics is admirable for the most part.

I believe this doesn’t kick in until early 2023. After the mid-terms when it can be quietly repealed.

Ya mean we might not get to see a totally repulsive Tinkerbell with a beard, multicolorad hair and an enormous schwanstucker or Captain Cook with boobs, weighing 550 pounds, also with multicolored hair and a hose ring?

Good. Should have never been allowed to occur.

It was based partly on Walt Disney’s plans to actually build a working city and be in charge of it. The City of Tomorrow was not just supposed to be a typical ride/park attraction.

Disney has brought this on themselves and before they lose 55% of the Country they need to terminate the radical “suits” that are actively poisoning our youth.

Oh my...DeSantis does NOT mess around. If Disney wants to insert themselves into politics then let them pay taxes like the rest of us...

Good. This is what Disney gets for going off half cocked (pun intended).

To appreciate the impact of this, everyone should read up on just what this means to Disney - the wikipedia page offers a good enough overview. Consider this tidbit:

“A five-member Board of Supervisors governs the District, elected by the landowners of the District. These members, senior employees of The Walt Disney Company, each own undeveloped five-acre (2.0 ha) lots of land within the District, the only land in the District not technically controlled by Disney or used for public road purposes. The only residents of the District, also Disney employees or their immediate family members, live in two small communities, one in each city. In the 2000 U.S. Census, Bay Lake had 23 residents, all in the community on the north shore of Bay Lake, and Lake Buena Vista had 16 residents, all in the community about a mile north of Disney Springs. These residents elect the officials of the cities, but since they do not actually own any land, they do not have any power in electing the District Board of Supervisors.”

Imagine this old boys network gone with the stroke of a pen!

Putin’s got nothing over the control Disney has had...and may not be losing.

Why support a company with state benefits that promotes something that the voters disagree with?

I can see incentives to get a business to move to your city or state and retain them.

It is certainly an option for Disney to move Disney World to a crazy liberal friendly state but that would be very expensive for Disney. Let them pack up and leave.

The bigger issue than taxation is prosecutions and law enforcement. Though I expect Disney will act to buy control over that.

Funny how Disney thought they could thrash the elected government (you know, those people the public voted into office to enact the very laws they are currently enacting), and not get muddy in the process?!?

Are they so short-sighted they didn’t see this was going to get egg on their faces? Or are they so delusional and ideologically driven they don’t care what they get on their faces?!? [innuendo intended]
