The West has been sending Ukraine a lot of weapons - SAM’s and ATGM’s - that are great at stopping an enemy offensive. But they have much more limited value for offensive operations. For that, you need more aircraft, and more armored vehicles. Otherwise, your counterattacks/advances are basically limited to foot speed, and it’s thought to get the enemy off balance that way.
Maybe he should ask Putin for a return of the RT-23 missiles they gave up. They can get them back by rail.

There were plenty of troops in Bataan. Most of them of the Philippine Army, which started out untrained and disorganized but by the surrender were quite proficient. The real problem is that they ran out of food and were consequently starving and sick.

Now Putin also overstepped his invasion. He under rated Ukraine ability to fight and paid a high price. He should have limited the invasion to a “small incursion” as Biden directed him. This is a mess and we should stay out—Is it worth all the problems of a wider war? If we send in the troops and enforce a “No Fly Zone” on our own would that work? Could we fly out of German bases—if NATO was involved? Need a “False Flag” event to get NATO to help in our WW III march on Moscow.
I would like to see a break-down of all the weapons, ammunition and equipment Ukraine has actually received from all sources, since February 24th.

26th Cavalry, Philippine Scouts and Philippine Constabulary were high performing troops. The remaining while many showed individual courage and skill never really were very successful as units. They likely correspond to the Ukies’ territorials and recent volunteers.
Zelensky has pleaded for a NO FLY zone provided by NATO aircraft. I wish not NATO to have direct engagement with Russia. “That could get out of hand” and lead to WWIII. WWIII is not good.
As Russia built up on the borders, if we had given the Ukraine the Jets they needed (Migs they know how to fly them) and we as in NATO had them and Patriot missiles a Russian bomber or fighter would have died over the Ukraine. This war would not have happened. Russia did not do this when Trump was in office. Putin saw our weakness in the withdrawal from Afghanistan and thought, “what the hell” it is time to take the Ukraine.
