Travelers were in a state of mask confusion Tuesday, with airports and other major transport hubs in New York still requiring face coverings — even as other states, including New Jersey, axed requirements almost immediately after a judge struck down a federal mandate.

Are hospitals and doctors’ offices still clinging to the face diaper mandate ?
Simple solution: Stop using those damn airports.
only idiot Karens and Kevins are confused..
Ain’t no confusion at all.
Sheer lunacy.
At least they stopped the stupidity of you having to call them, them coming to the door to admit you (after taking your temp), and escorting you to the chair.
I'm going in for a colonoscopy in three weeks. I need a COVID test three days in advance and I'm supposed to "self isolate" for the three days after the test. Yeah, right, I'm going to lock myself in my house for three days wearing a mask the whole time.
Two years of utter insanity. The damn things don't do a thing! Eleven states never had mask mandates; 39 did. Here are the 11 compared to the 39:
Well, the Charlotte hub nixed them so you are gonna have folks all over the USA without masks.
Anyone wearing one in an airport does so of their own (stupid) accord and you can no longer force others to comply.
That's reality.
I have to take public transit into Shitcago tomorrow because driving is too expensive and parking in that craphole costs a mortgage payment.
There will be NO mask on my face, despite HELLINOIS saying they're "still required" here.
EFF THAT.
Yes, they are. It infuriates me.
I had a service job in a major hospital in SC covering 3 floors and patient areas.
NO mask required.
I was very surprised.
Tards in the North be loving their mask or die policies.
Many hospitals definitely are.
The bottom line is that if we all lived in a sterile bubble we would be protected against infections. But who wants to or can live in a sterile bubble? (Not that masks are equivalent to sterile bubbles. They’re definitely not).
So as I understand it several airlines have already punted masks. I guess if you were flying out of JFK or some such the moment you stepped off the boarding tunnel into the aircraft you could take off your mask.
What utter nonsense this whole virus/vaccine/mask/lockdown thing has been. Madness.
How many people are left to infect? Everyone who wanted gene therapy injections got them. Everyone who has gotten infected has recovered or died. Is there anyone left ?
They have managed to get us out of our ‘cover.’ They now know who
We are. We who do not submit to their complete and total BS.
Yes, Delta, United, Southwest, and American have now dropped mandates:
Uber has also, but Lyft hasn’t (or it may be the other way around; I saw it briefly on the news this morning).
Find another dentist
The dentist we had been going to were very masky. I went hunting for a new dentist. I had a good sense about an office that was not huge, had a sign that read “DENTIST”, and shared the building with a chiropractor. Scored on my first try. He’s east Asian with degrees from UCAL-LA, USC and NYU. Clientele largely local Vietnamese. By him not beibg masky, my whole family has a permanent dentist.
My doctors office here in Texas required one today and still doing temperature checks before you can check in.
That’s what they seem to believe, but the problem is that the moment you inevitably ventured outside the sterile bubble you would die as quickly as the Martians in War of the Worlds. Our immune systems have to be exposed to a wide range of pathogens in order to be able to identify and kill them in the future.
In Tucson, some are and some aren’t. Our eye doctor hasn’t required masks for about a year now, and one or two of my wife’s doctors have quit the mask silliness recently. Our dentist is an old-timer and never did require masks as far as I know.
